Crowd Goes Wild

Predictably, with the first major hand containing three all-ins, the crowd here inside the ESPN Final Table area went a little crazy. Fans of Lyric Duveyoung were shouting "Jack! Throw a jack!" while fans of Rosen were yelling "Ace!" at the top of their lungs.

The crowd, which had been on its feet after the all-in announcement, grew awkwardly silent after seeing a bland flop consisting of {3-Spades} {9-Spades} {10-Hearts}, with many attempting to see if it offered up any possibilities besides the obvious.

The atmosphere is certainly different after a double elimination, and as we continue seven-handed.

Hand #7-- Jonathan Aguiar

It was folded to Michael Banducci on the button and he raised to 45,000. Johathan Aguiar moved in from the small blind, and after Michael Binger folded, Banducci followed suit.

Hand #8-- Jeff Williams Eliminates Michael Binger in Seventh Place ($101,293)

Michael Binger
Michael Binger
It was folded around to Michael Binger in the small blind, and he moved all in for 156,000. Jeff Williams, as always, thought things over for a bit before making the call.

The hands were:

Binger: {A-Spades} {J-Clubs}
Williams: {K-Diamonds} {8-Hearts}

The flop came {K-Hearts} {10-Hearts} {6-Spades}, giving Williams top pair and Binger an inside straight draw. The turn was the {6-Clubs}, no help to Binger, and the river was the {8-Diamonds}, sealing Binger's fate. He finishes in seventh place, good for $101,293.

Hand #11-- Peter Gould

The action was folded around to Peter Gould in the small blind, who called. Lyric Duveyoung raised to 30,000 from the big blind and Gould made the call.

The flop came {J-Hearts} {5-Hearts} {5-Clubs}. Gould checked and Duveyoung bet 36,000. Gould called and the {6-Spades} fell on the turn. Gould led out for 72,000 and Duveyoung laid it down.

Hand #12-- Peter Gould

Jeff Williams raised to 41,000. Alan Jaffray, Peter Gould, and Michael Banducci all called.

The flop was the {2-Clubs} {9-Hearts} {10-Spades}. Banducci checked, Williams checked, and Jaffray bet 100,000. Gould then raised to 320,000. Banducci and Williams both folded and Jaffray grinned before laying down his hand.

Hand #13-- Peter Gould

The action was folded around to Peter Gould, who took time from stacking his chips from the previous hand to raise to 44,000. Everyone folded and he took down the pot.
