Michael Banducci Eliminates Randy Haddox

Randy Haddox limped on the button and Michael Banducci raised to 44,000 from the small blind. Haddox called, and the flop came {J-Diamonds} {3-Clubs} {8-Clubs}. Banducci bet 55,000 and Haddox called, and he also called Banducci's 100,000 bet when the {3-Spades} turned. When the {8-Hearts} hit on the river Banducci moved all in and Haddox made the call. Banducci tabled pocket Kings and Haddox mucked. He finishes today in 11th place.

Something to Celebrate

The remaining ten players have just moved to the same table and Michael Binger, the shortest remaining stack, drew the button. "Hot damn!" he said, jumping out of his seat to celebrate the fact that he has a few extra hands before the blinds come his way.

Slow Going

No, we haven't forgotten you. There hasn't been much to report of late, a flop is a rare thing and a re-raise rarer still. One bit of news--we've learned that the start of tomorrow's final table has been pushed back to 3pm.

Michael Banducci Eliminates Phi Nguyen

Phi Nguyen
Phi Nguyen
Jeff Williams raised to 85,000 and Phi Nguyen reraised to 117,000. Michael Banducci doubled Nguyen's raise and Williams looked back at his hand, then folded with a wry smile. Nguyen said "call" and started to turn over his hand, but Williams stopped him, saying that the raise hadn't been enough to set Nguyen all in.

So we saw a flop of {8-Diamonds} {3-Clubs} {8-Hearts} and Nguyen committed his last 85,000. Banducci made the call with {Q-Hearts} {Q-Spades} which led Nguyen's Ace-King. The {J-Diamonds} hit on the turn, eliciting a laugh from Williams who said he folded Jacks. The {5-Hearts} on the river spelled the end for Nguyen, who finishes in 10th place.
