Hand #106 - Marty Smyth

Marty Smyth has the button in Seat 8. He limps in, and Peter Jetten checks his option. The flop comes {J-Spades} {2-Spades} {4-Diamonds}. Jetten checks it over to Smyth, who bets 160,000. Jetten makes the call.

When the turn falls {5-Diamonds}, Jetten checks again. This time Smyth also checks to see a river of {8-Spades}. Both players check. Smyth turns over his hand first, showing two pair, eights and deuces. That hand makes him a winner as Jetten mucks.

Peter Jetten has the button in Seat 3, and he makes the call. Marty Smyth checks his option.

The flop is {A-Clubs} {5-Spades} {4-Spades}. Smyth checks, and Jetten bets 100,000. Smyth comes over the top with a raise to 450,000. Jetten quickly folds.

The flop is {9-Hearts} {2-Clubs} {9-Diamonds}. Jetten checks to Smyth, who bets out 375,000. After thinking it over for a minute, Jetten raises 1,200,000. Smyth quickly folds.

Hand #112 - Marty Smyth

Marty Smyth has the button in Seat 8. He makes it 240,000 to go. Peter Jetten pauses for thirty seconds, then reraises pot to 720,000. Smyth makes the call inside of twenty seconds. A huge pot is brewing.

The flop is {6-Spades} {9-Diamonds} {K-Hearts}. Peter Jetten comes out swinging, betting pot -- 1,440,000. Smyth is in the tank. His elbows are on the rail, hands in front of his mouth. He just puffed out his cheeks as he let out a big sigh. He seems to be stuck with a decision he doesn't want to make in a big pot. Afer a minute in the tank, Smyth moves all in. Jetten wastes no time in calling. Is this it?

Jetten: {A-Spades} {Q-Hearts} {10-Hearts} {4-Spades}
Smyth: {Q-Spades} {J-Spades} {10-Spades} {7-Hearts}

Incredibly, nobody has a pair. Smyth has a full wrap draw, Jetten not much of anything. The turn comes {10-Diamonds} to fill Smyth's wrap and make him a straight. "You'll never beat the Irish" chants break out from Smyth's cheering section before the river comes down. Jetten needs a jack, and doesn't get it when the river falls {4-Diamonds}. Smyth will double up and take a commanding chip lead.

Hand #113 - Peter Jetten

Peter Jetten has the button in Seat 3. Both players see a cheap flop.

It comes out {Q-Spades} {5-Spades} {8-Clubs}. Both players check.

The turn is the {J-Diamonds}. Check check.

The river is the {8-Hearts} and both men check once again. The hands are turned over, and Jetten tables {9-Hearts} {9-Diamonds} {6-Clubs} {10-Clubs}. He made a queen-high straight and wins the pot.
