HORSE Champion to HORSE Chip Leader

Scotty Nguyen, winner of the $50,000 HORSE event, stops by the $1,500 HORSE event. "Phil! Good luck, baby!"

Phil Hellmuth stands up to greet him warmly. "Nice job, champ!" he says. "You win the big HORSE, I win the little HORSE!"

Scotty Nguyen is going around the room and tipping every single dealer $20 each.

Arash Ghaneian Eliminated in 14th ($11,070)

Stud High:

Arash Ghaneian is all in on fourth street. There's some betting on fifth, and the remaining three players check it down on sixth and seventh on the side.

Arash: {2-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{6-Spades}{6-Diamonds} (muck)
Victor Ramdin: {8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{A-Clubs} (muck)
Matt Grapenthein: ({Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}){9-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{J-Hearts}-x
James Schaaf: {8-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{A-Hearts} (muck)

Grapenthein takes it all and Arash is eliminated.

Dealer Error

Stud-8

A dealer started a stud-8 hand and accidentally started dealing a flop. Then, on the next street, he accidentally missed short stack Lonnie Heimowitz, dealing a {J-Spades} to the wrong player. "Come on, dealer! Pay attention!" said Lonnie, getting steamed. The {J-Spades} was moved to Lonnie and play continued correctly. Eventually, Lonnie turned over {4-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{5-?}{5-?}-x-x for two pair, so it's understandable that he was upset about that jack.
