Hand #42 - Shannon Shorr

Matt Keikoan has the button in seat 1. Action folds around to Theo Tran and he completes from the small blind. Shannon Shorr checks his big blind option. It's a battle of the blinds on a flop of {A-Clubs} {J-Clubs} {7-Spades} and Tran bets 25,000. Shorr calls. The turn comes the {7-Hearts} and both men check. The river is the {Q-Clubs}. Tran checks and Shorr does the same. Shorr shows {K-Spades} {4-Spades} and Tran mucks. Shannon Shorr wins the pot.

Hand #44 - Carter Gill

Shannon Shorr has the button in seat 3. Chris Bjorin moves all in from under the gun for 61,000. Mihai Manole makes the smooth call, as does Carter Gill, and Bjorin is at risk against two opponents.

The flop comes {Q-Hearts} {10-Spades} {5-Hearts} . Gill and Manole check.

The turn is the {9-Spades} . Both players again check.

The river is the {8-Hearts} , and it is checked down again.

The cards are turned over. Bjorin shows {K-Clubs} {9-Clubs} , Manole missed with {4-Spades} {6-Spades} , and Gill tables the winning hand. His {6-Clubs} {7-Spades} made a straight on the river, and it is he who eliminates Bjorin.

Hand #45 - Theo Tran

Carter Gill has the button in seat 4. Theo Tran raises to 55,000 from under the gun. Gill calls from the button. Matt Keikoan gets in the pot as well, and we are three-handed to the flop.

The board runs out {4-Diamonds} {7-Clubs} {7-Spades} {10-Hearts} {9-Spades} , with the players checking it down on each street. Theo Tran ends up with the winning hand when his {K-Hearts} {J-Hearts} is good enough to take down the pot.

Hand #46 - Carter Gill

With Carter Gill in the cutoff, he and both blinds see a flop of {J-Hearts} {6-Spades} {Q-Clubs} . Matt Keikoan and Theo Tran both check, and Gill puts in a bet of 35,000. Keikoan folds, and Tran stays in with a call.

The turn comes {7-Hearts} . Check check.

The river is the {5-Hearts} . Theo Tran bets out 150,000, and Gill makes the call. Tran shows down {Q-Diamonds} {3-Diamonds} , while Gill tables {3-Clubs} {4-Diamonds} , having made a winning straight on the river.

Hand #47 - Theo Tran

Carter Gill raises to 45,000 from under the gun. Theo Tran calls from the small blind, and Shannon Shorr calls from the big blind.

The three players see a flop of {K-Hearts} {7-Clubs} {5-Clubs}. All three players check.

The {Q-Hearts} is the turn. Tran checks, Shorr bets 85,000 and Carter Gill calls. Tran comes over the top of the two players, with a raise to 230,000 and both players fold. Theo Tran wins the pot.

Hand #48 - Carter Gill

Theo Tran has the button in seat 2. Shannon Shorr calls from the small blind and Carter Gill checks the big blind.

The flop is {10-Clubs} {7-Diamonds} {3-Diamonds}. Shorr bets 65,000. Gill calls the bet and the {9-Spades} comes off on the turn. Both players check. Fifth street is the {6-Hearts}. Shorr checks, Gill bets 125,000 and Shorr folds. Carter Gill wins the pot.

Hand #49 - Theo Tran

Shannon Shorr has the button in seat 3. Matt Keikoan limps in from under the gun. Theo Tran raises to 105,000 from the cutoff seat. Action folds back around to Keikoan, who folds as well. Theo Tran wins the pot.

Mihai Manole Eliminated in Fifth Place ($155,013)

Hand #50 - Theo Tran

Carter Gill has the button in seat 4. Theo Tran raises to 60,000 from under the gun. Mihai Manole reraises to 160,000 from the small blind. Matt Keikoan folds the big blind. Tran calls the raise and they go heads up to a flop of {8-Diamonds} {3-Clubs} {5-Spades}.

Manole, first to act, bets 150,000. Tran puts in a raise of 200,000 more, making it 350,000 total. Manole reraises all in and Tran insta-calls. The players show:

Tran: {5-Diamonds} {5-Hearts}
Manole: {A-Spades} {8-Clubs}

In the biggest pot of the day, Tran has a relative stranglehold on the hand and the deal is sealed when the {10-Diamonds} hits the turn. The river is a meaningless {Q-Hearts} and Manole is our fifth-place finisher. He'll collect over $150,000 for his three-day effort.

Hand #51 - Shannon Shorr

There is a dead button this hand, and it sits in front of Carter Gill. Shannon Shorr raises to 55,000 from under the gun, and Theo Tran is the lone caller from the big blind.

It's heads up to a flop of {4-Spades} {4-Hearts} {4-Diamonds}. Tran checks and Shorr bets 95,000. Tran folds and Shannon Shorr wins the pot.
