He has been up and down several times already, and he just became involved in another big pot, this time with his tournament life on the line.

He and Rocco Pace got all their chips into the pot preflop. Tran had been chipped down to 62,800, and he mentioned, "I need to get my chips back," as he pushed in and turned over {10-Hearts}

, and he and Tran were racing for a big pot.

Pawel Clocks 'The Razor'

, Pawel Andrzejewski went all in, forcing John Phan to make a decision for all of his chips. Just as Phan started to ponder the call, Andrzejewski called the clock on Phan. The tournament director counted down 60 seconds, Phan didn't act in time, and his hand was declared dead. Andrzejewski raked in the pot of more than 20,000 to move to 145,000. "The Razor" is down to 37,000.

Pace Crippled and then Triples

into Chen's {A-Diamonds}

Chen called Pace's all-in on a flop of {7-Hearts}

. The turn and river brought no help for Pace, with the {6-Clubs}

dropping.

After the hand Chen moved up to over 95,000 while Pace was crippled and left with 13,000.

Only a few hands later, however, Pace tripled up against Remy Biechel's {A-Spades}

and Theo Tran's {9-Clubs}

when his
