Manny Minaya Eliminated in 10th ($33,320)

Manny Minaya Eliminated
Manny Minaya Eliminated
Theo Tran raised from middle position to 40,000, and it was folded round to Manny Minaya who moved all in for an additional 179,000 more. Tran eventually made the call and tabled {A-Hearts}{K-Spades} and was going to need some help to overcome Minaya's {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}.

When the board ran out {8-Clubs}{9-Spades}{A-Spades}{4-Clubs}{10-Spades}, Tran hit his miricle ace to eliminate Minaya in 10th place.

Bolotin Doubles Through Keikoan

After going all in and getting no callers the previous hand, Alex Bolotin shoved again, this time getting a call from Max Keikoan.

Bolotin showed {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts} and Keikoan turned over {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}.

The board ran out {k-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{7-Spades}{4-Hearts} and Bolotin moved to 348,000.

Bubble Boy?

From under the gun, Chris Bjorin moves his remaining 99,000 chips into the center, and hopes for the best. It folds around to Carter Gill who puts in the calling chips. He turns over {A-Spades} {K-Hearts}, and has Bjorin's {K-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds} dominated.

Bjorin doesn't even bother standing, apparently confident in his luck. As the dealer deals out three cards, right in the door comes the {J-Clubs} , followed by the {10-Spades} and then the {J-Hearts}! Bjorin flopped trips, and leapt ahead of Gill. He still needed to sweat a few outs, but the {3-Diamonds} and {10-Clubs} that complete the board kept Bjorin alive, more than doubling him up to 226,000. Gill is left with 680,8000.

So, we play on!

Talking Smack!!

Tran Talks Smack to Tran!!
Tran Talks Smack to Tran!!
With the 10-handed table being formed, it is the first time in a few hours that JC Tran and Theo Tran have been seated on the same table.

Good mates away from the table, they have both been talking smack at each other.

With JC taking down the first pot, he flashes Theo two tens; in response Theo announces, "You need cards!!" And following Theo's so-called good fortune, JC returned with, "I need cards?? You just run sick hot!!"

What a final table this could be if they both make it through to tomorrow.

Thong "Jimmy" Tran Eliminated in 12th Place ($33,320)

Thong "Jimmy" Tran
Thong "Jimmy" Tran
Jimmy Tran makes an opening raise to 35,000. A couple spots down the line, Matt Keikoan turns the heat up by stamping down a 20-stack of T25,000 chips worth a total of 500,000. Everyone else ducks out, and Jimmy Tran, well-covered, makes the call for his last 250,000.

The cards are shown down. Tran tables {K-Clubs} {9-Diamonds}, and has just one live card versus Keikoan's {9-Hearts} {9-Spades}.

The board proves useless to Tran, as it runs out {4-Hearts} {3-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds} {8-Hearts} {8-Spades}. He stands quietly and takes one last look at the table before heading over to pick up his pay slip. For his work over the last two days, Tran pockets $33,320, but is sent out just a couple spots shy of the final table.
