For the past five days, the Hilton Tallinn Park Hotel & Olympic Park Casino has been hosting the WSOP Circuit Tallinn stop, for the fourth year in a row. While plenty of side events have been played out, and two of the 12 WSOPC rings up for grabs have already been awarded, the true eye-catcher on the schedule, the €1,000,000 guaranteed €1,500 Main Event, will kick off its first of five starting flights today at 2 p.m. local time.
Last year, Jenny Westerlund topped the record-breaking field of 888 entries to walk away with the most prestigious ring of all and add a monster score of €200,200 to her bankroll. Westerlund has already been spotted playing in the Ladies Event this year as she is expected to attempt a title defence. The final table also featured Estonian poker legend Igor Pihela and Norwegian regular David Vinaya.

Day 1a will feature 40-minute levels, the first 12 of which will allow players to enter or reenter the tournament with a stack of 50,000. The blinds will start at 100/200 with a 200 big blind ante, and unlimited reentries are permitted until late registration closes around 11:45 p.m. local time, at which point the blinds will be at 2,000/4,000 (4,000). A 15-minute break is scheduled after every three levels, while a 60-minute dinner break is set after Level 9, around 8:30 p.m. local time.
After Day 1a, Day 1b and Day 1c will take place on July 29, while Day 1d and Day 1e are scheduled for July 30. All opening flights will play down to 15 percent of the field, ensuring everyone who makes Day 2 is in the money.
