A River for Carter

From middle position, Tyler Hamade opened the pot with a raise to 11,000. Action folded around to Keith Carter in the big blind, who was the lone caller.

The flop ran {A-Diamonds} {6-Clubs} {9-Clubs} . Carter checked and Hamade continued out for 21,000. Carter asked for his opponent's count, and then moved all in. Hamade quickly called, and we had a showdown:

Carter: {A-Spades} {3-Spades}
Hamade: {A-Clubs} {Q-Diamonds}

The turn was the {K-Hearts} , giving Carter a some additional outs to chop.

Who needs a chop though? The river card brought the {3-Clubs} , making a winning two pair for Kevin Carter. He raked in a big pot and sent Hamade to the rail, shaking his head.
