Prescott Takes a Roman Holiday

Roman Yitzhaki raises preflop and Ville Wahlbeck calls on the button. Allie Prescott moved all-in from the small blind for about 160,000. Yitzhaki makes the call and Wahlbeck folds.

Yitzhaki: {9-Hearts} {9-Spades}
Prescott: {K-Hearts} {K-Diamonds}

{2-Hearts} {A-Spades} {8-Diamonds} {6-Diamonds} {8-Spades}

Prescott doubles to about 350,000. Yitzhaki has about 250,000.

Mike Wattel Doubles Through Ville Wahlbeck

Pot-limit Omaha:

We caught up with this hand on the turn, Mike Wattel making a pot-sized bet of 100,000 which left him with only 13,000 behind. After a long think, Wahlbeck called. The rest of Wattel's chips went in the middle when the {K-Clubs} came on the river and Wahlbeck called.

Wattel turned up {K-Spades} {J-Hearts} {10-Diamonds} {9-Hearts} for a king-high straight. Looking about as irritated as a Finn can look at the poker table, Wahlbeck winced and tried to muck, but as Wattel was all in, he was forced to show. Wahlbeck turned up {Q-Clubs} {9-?} {5-?} {3-Clubs} as the pot was shipped to Wattel, who is now up to about 340,000.

(Se)Rock Blocked!

No Limit Hold'em:

A large pot between Joe Serock and James Van Alstyne saw the action go check check on the {3-Hearts} {6-Hearts} {J-Hearts} flop before Serock checked the {4-Clubs} turn. Van Alystyne bet 100,000 and Serock thought long and hard before calling with about 210,000 behind.

The river was the {5-Clubs} and Serock checked again with Van Alstyne moving all-in for his last 165,000 or so. Serock made the call but instantly threw his cards into the muck when he saw his opponent's {Q-Hearts} {9-Hearts}. The tournament director turned them up to show his {A-Diamonds} {4-Diamonds}

Serock has about 45,000 left.

No-Limit Hold'em:

Joe Serock open-shoved for his remaining 35,000 in chips, David Chiu called from the button, Scott Dorin called from the small blind and James Van Alstyne called from the big blind.

Dorin, Van Alstyne, and Chiu checked down the {K-Clubs} {Q-Spades} {2-Clubs} {4-Clubs} {J-Diamonds} board.

Serock held {A-Spades} {3-Hearts} for ace-high, Chiu showed {A-Hearts} {4-Hearts} for a pair of fours and both Dorin and Van Alstyne mucked. Chiu dragged the pot as Serock hit the rail in 11th place.

Feature Table

The players are now moving to the secondary feature table. As we are nine-handed though, three players will sit out for the triple draw and one player for the stud variants.

Players Take a 75-Minute Dinner Break

With everyone now settled in at the feature table, the players have agreed to take an early dinner break after they finish coloring up some of the 1,000 and 5,000-denomination chips for the green 25,000-denomination chips.

There are still twenty minutes remaining in Level 22. We'll see you at 7 p.m.

Seeded No.1?

PLO:

Huck Seed raises preflop and gets called by Todd Brunson on the button and James Van Alstyne in the blinds.

The {10-Spades} {J-Clubs} {5-Clubs} board is checked around before Van Alstyne bets 26,000 on the {10-Diamonds} turn. Seed calls and Brunson folds.

On the {4-Clubs} river, Van Alstyne checks and gives up very quickly after Seed now bets 26,000 to rake the first pot.
