Alex Ivarsson Eliminated in 10th Place ($39,376)

Alex Ivarsson -- 10th Place
Alex Ivarsson -- 10th Place
With about 110,000 already in the middle and the board showing {4-Spades}{10-Hearts}{K-Spades}, Joe Serock bet 65,000, and Alex Ivarsson thought for a few moments before pushing all in. Serock quickly called, turning over {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}. Ivarsson needed help with his {K-Hearts}{J-Hearts}.

Help came on the turn -- the {K-Clubs} -- giving Ivarsson trips. But the river was the {A-Spades}, taking the pot away and eliminating Ivarsson in 10th place.

Serock pushes up around 2.4 million, well out in front with nine players left.

Kink - You Really Got Me

Alexander Wilson raises to 42,000 from the cut-off and Jay Kinkade makes it an even 100,000 from the small blind. Passed back to Wilson who moves all-in and as he does this, Kinkade lets out a deep sigh...and folds.

Shorter-Handed

One four-handed table at the moment: Newman, Meinders, Serock, and Crane. And one five-handed: Wilson, Sudworth, Kinkade, Rios, and Parker.

Joe Serock continues to maintain the lead with 2.2 million. The short stack right now is Clayton Newman with about 275,000.

Russell Prevented From Being A Rustler

Joe Serock raises to 34,000 from UTG. Russell Crane calls from the button and Brian Meinders calls in the big blind.

The flop is {10-Spades} {9-Hearts} {6-Clubs}, Meinders and Serock check and Crane bets what looked to be about 56,000. Meinders folded but Serock made the call.

The turn {2-Spades} went check check before Serock bet 175,000 on the {7-Clubs} river. Crane folded and the rich get richer.

Brian Meinders Eliminated in 8th Place ($54,777)

As Jay Kinkade was being eliminated, a big hand was brewing over on Table #150 between chip leader Joe Serock and Brian Meinders.

All of the community cards had been dealt: {7-Spades}{J-Hearts}{A-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{J-Spades}, and it appeared as though Meinders had check-raised Serock, who then responded by pushing all in. Meinders called, turning over Q-J for trip jacks. But Serock had {10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} for the straight, and Meinders is out in 8th place.

"Donk down on 150!" said the good-natured Meinders as he shook hands on his way out.

Serock moves up to a whopping 3.4 million on that one, about than two million ahead of his nearest foe (Brock Parker). We're down to seven, and so now the players are redrawing for a single seven-handed table.

Nines Good for Rios

Jesse Rios limped in from middle position, and Joe Serock raised to 75,000 from the button. The blinds fold, and Rios made the call.

The flop came {9-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{A-Spades}. Rios checked, Serock bet 105,000, and after thinking a bit Rios made the call. Both checked the {2-Hearts} on the turn. Both also checked the {7-Diamonds} on the river.

Rios turned over {J-Spades}{9-Hearts} for nines, and Serock mucked. Rios has nearly 1.2 million, while Serock is still above the 3 million-chip mark.

Suds Washed Away: James Sudworth Eliminated In 7th ($54,777)

Suds Bubbled: James Sudworth - 7th
Suds Bubbled: James Sudworth - 7th
With Joe Serock continuing to boss the table, short-stack James Sudworth made a stand and reraised all-in against yet another of Serock's raises.

Sudworth: {3-Spades} {3-Clubs}
Serock: {A-Clubs} {5-Clubs}

{9-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds} {9-Hearts} {10-Diamonds} {A-Diamonds}

Sudworth tapped the table and wished everyone good luck.

We'll now be on a short break as they set-up on the feature table.
