The final day of Event #21, $3,000 H.O.R.S.E., is upon us. The tournament is set to begin in just a few moments at 1:00 PM local time. The 21 players remaining have been listed below with their official seating assignments and chips counts as they ended the second day.
There are still some big names vying for the bracelet including Ylon Schwartz, Gavin Smith, Matt Hawrilenko, Chau Giang, and James Van Alstyne. The chip leader is Zac Fellows with 471,000 chips. Van Alstyne is just under 20,000 chips behind him on the leaderboard. Fellows placed 9th in the Aussie Millions Main Event and 5th in the H.O.R.S.E. He has two WSOP cashes to date, making this his third.

A couple of double-ups have started our day, with the short stacks fighting hard for their shot at WSOP glory.
Razz
Our overnight short stack, Frank Debus doubled in a hand of Razz against Asher Derei.
Debus raised and Derei reraised to put Debus all in on third street. The board ran out:

Meanwhile a raising war on fourth street between Matt Hawrilenko and Ylon Schwartz, saw Hawrilenko all in by fifth street. Before the river was dealt, their boards were:

He then squeezed his own river, needing some help to stay alive and found the for two pair, aces over threes. He doubles to 140,000 as a visibly disturbed Schwartz slips to 110,000.
Jared Okun was another overnight short stack but he couldn't find the double-up in a hand of Stud against Asher Derei. Okun was all in by fourth street and the boards ran out as follows:

Frank Debus
Brian McKain went out on a hand of stud-8 as he failed to scoop either half of the pot. McKain was short coming into today. Frank Debus was also eliminated. He was our chip leader coming into yesterday, but his run just ended as he was busted in 19th place.
After Baker completed, Smith made the call on third. Baker then led on fourth and fifth and was called each time by Gavin. Sixth street was checked by both players and then Baker checked seventh as well. Smith fired a bet and Baker called.
Smith turn up two more diamonds in the hole, , to go along with his three on board for a flush. Baker mentioned that he only held two big pairs and then mucked his hand. From this hand, Baker was crippled to under 10,000 chips.
David Baker raised all in preflop and both blinds, Matt Hawrilenko and Aaron Steury, called. On the flop of , Steury bet after Hawrilenko checked. Hawrilenko folded and Steury took his up against Baker's .
The turn was the and the river the to give Baker the double up and put him back to around 18,000.
A short moment later, Baker was all in again. This time he was up against Ylon Schwartz. Schartz held and Baker held . The board ran out . Baker was able to double up again and now has around 36,000 chips.
Ylon Schwartz was still rattled from the pot he lost earlier in the day, and decided to commit his last chips in an Omaha-8 hand.
Schwartz was in the cutoff when we caught the action on the turn with him calling a bet on a board. The river was the and his opponent, Stewart Yancik, fired out another bet from the small blind with Schwartz insta-calling for his last chips.
Schwartz tabled hoping for half but Yancik revealed for a flush for the high and a better low, to leave Schwartz headed to the rail in 18th place.
