Nguyen, Chop And Chiu

On the turn of a {9-Spades} {2-Hearts} {A-Diamonds} {8-Clubs}, Scotty Nguyen bets 1,500 and Chiu raises to 4,500. Nguyen quickly calls. He calls another bet on the {7-Spades} river.

Nguyen shows {A-Clubs} {4-Clubs} {2-Clubs} {9-Spades} for nines-full and a live four but Chiu has {A-Spades} {A-Hearts} {K-?} {6-?} for aces full and a live six.

Chop it up.

Aces Vs Aces

Mike Sexton and an opponent got it all-in preflop with {A-Spades} {2-Diamonds} {A-Hearts} {6-Clubs} and {A-Diamonds} {A-Clubs} {K-Hearts} {6-Spades} respectively.

Sexton was freerolling a deuce for the high after the {2-Spades} {7-Spades} {Q-Spades} flop, both made the A-6 low on the {5-Hearts} turn and it stayed as a chop on {Q-Hearts} river.

Chips?

Mercier - Might be getting a early night out tonight...
Mercier - Might be getting a early night out tonight...
Jason Mercier is already down to his last 3,000 or so. That wouldn't seem so bad except he's already used both his second chance chips. He just turned around to us at the press table and jokingly asked if we'd seen any 1,000 orange chips or spare second chance chips lying around that he could pilfer.

King George

Four-way to the turn of a {6-Hearts} {9-Hearts} {4-Spades} {Q-Spades} board saw George Danzer bet 3,500 from the cut-off. The button called, David Chiu and the hijack folded.

The river was the {J-Hearts} and both players checked. Danzer flipped {A-Diamonds} {2-Hearts} {8-Spades} {10-Hearts} for a flush which was good when his opponent flashed {Q-?} {9-?} before mucking.

German Domination?

Florian Langman is up to 20,000 with two second chance chips left after winning a big three-way pot and eliminated Sam Khouiss at the same time.

Langman: {A-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds} {A-Clubs} {J-Clubs}
Khouiss: {3-Hearts} {5-Clubs} {K-Hearts} {4-Spades}
Other Player: {A-Hearts} {K-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts} {9-Spades}

The board is {2-Spades} {3-Diamonds} {2-Clubs} {4-Diamonds} {5-Hearts} and somehow no one has a low here. Langman wins it all with aces up.

That's All Baby!

Scotty Nguyen has been knocked out by Manuel Bevand.

Nguyen made an early position to 600 and Bevand called with {2-?} {3-?} {4-?} {10-?}. Two players called behind also.

The flop is {3-?} {4-?} {J-?} and it's checked to Bevand who bets the pot, Nguyen is the only caller.

The turn is the {K-?} and Bevand sets Nguyen in and Nguyen calls with {A-?} {2-?} {2-?} {10-?}, the river is a {J-?} and Bevand's Jacks and Fours is good for the whole pot.
