Elezra Scoops

Eli Elezra has just won a decent amount of chips holding {Q-Spades} {J-Diamonds} {9-Hearts} {4-Spades} against {A-Hearts} {A-Clubs} {3-Clubs} {10-Hearts} when all the money went in on the turn of a {2-Spades} {4-Clubs} {J-Spades} {Q-Clubs} {K-Spades} board. Elezra not wanting to see the straight on the river but the flush came as well for the entire pot.

Van is a Write-Off

Van Marcus is out after getting his stack in with {A-Clubs} {Q-Spades} {5-Hearts} {4-Spades} against {A-Diamonds} {K-Spades} {Q-Diamonds} {J-Spades}. Marcus needed some low cards or lots of fives and fours to win, but the board came out {J-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds} {K-Clubs} {9-Hearts} {4-Diamonds} giving his opponent top two to eliminate him.

Another Van Crashes

James Van Alstyne had raised preflop and Amnon Filippi called out of the blinds.

The flop was {9-Spades} {2-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds} and Filippi check/raised for pot to 7,600 and Van Alstyne sighed and put his chips in the middle with {A-?} {3-?} {5-?} {K-?}. He was in good shape against Filippi's {5-Clubs} {4-Spades} {3-Spades} {3-Hearts}.

Filippi had to catch an ace or three for a scoop and Van Alstyne didn't need to improve with second pair.

The turn was a {9-?}, but the river was a {3-?} and Filippi made a full house to knock out the HORSE runner-up from yesterday.

Danzer Takes One From Boatman

On the turn of a {5-Spades} {10-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts} {8-Clubs} board, Barney Boatman bets 1,000 and George Danzer raises to 2,800 with the Hendon Mobster quickly calling.

The river is the {3-Diamonds} and Boatman checks, Danzer quickly bets 7,500 and like every England/Germany soccer match, the German wins.

(Although at least this time we didn't lose on penalties)
