Bloch Chipping Up

Andy Bloch raised to 15,000 from the hijack seat and Scott Clements called from the small blind. The flop came down {A-Hearts} {Q-Hearts} {7-Hearts} and Clements check-called a bet of 35,000 from Bloch.

The turn was the {6-Spades} and Clements checked again. This time Bloch fired about three times his previous amount with a bet of 92,000 and was all in. Clements took a moment and then mucked.

Bell Tolls For Lisandro?

Jeff Lisandro raised the pot in early position and Chris Bell reraised all in.

Lisandro quickly called with {A-Spades} {A-Clubs} {4-Diamonds} {9-Clubs} saying as he saw Bell's {A-Hearts} {5-Hearts} {2-Clubs} {3-Spades}, "We need them high and we need them clubby!"

The board came {8-Diamonds} {3-Hearts} {7-Diamonds} {6-Hearts} {K-Hearts} and Bell made the nuts both ways to double up and leave Lisandro really short.

Counterfeited

On a board reading {J-Clubs} {7-Hearts} {5-Diamonds} {K-Clubs}, Roland de Wolfe fired a bet of 24,000. Armando Ruiz II called and then Matt Lefkowitz called.

"Wow!" exclaimed de Wolfe.

The river was the {J-Hearts} and de Wolfe sat with his hands over his eyes. Finally, he looked and saw what the river brought. He then checked and Ruiz checked as well. Lefkowitz checked also.

"I got counterfeited on the river," said de Wolfe.

"Ace king," said Ruiz before tabling {A-Spades} {K-Diamonds} {5-Spades} {3-Clubs}.

The other two players mucked and Ruiz scooped the pot.

Clements Knocks Andy's Bloch Off

Scott Clements raises preflop to 16,000 and Andy Bloch defends in the big blind.

Both players check the {Q-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds} {3-Clubs} flop before Clements fires 20,000 after Bloch had checked the {3-Spades} turn. Bloch calls and then checks the {9-Clubs} river. Clements bet 40,000. Bloch tanks for a couple of minutes before calling, only to muck when Clements shows him {A-Diamonds} Js} {8-Clubs} {3-Hearts}.
