I'm On A Boat!

Ross Boatman raises to 7,000 with just 4,600 behind and Senovio Ramirez III makes it 12,000 to set him all in, the Hendon Mobster quickly calls.

Ramirez: {A-Hearts} {3-Spades} {9-Hearts} {A-Clubs}
Boatman: {A-Diamonds} {7-Hearts} {4-Clubs} {2-Diamonds}

The board comes {3-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds} {7-Clubs} {3-Clubs} {9-Diamonds} and Ramirez makes threes full of nines to scoop the entire pot.

Negreanu Suffers Setback

On a {J-Diamonds} {8-Spades} {2-Spades} board Daniel Negreanu saw his 9,000 bet get check-raised by Stewart Yancik to a pot-sized bet of 29,200.

Negreanu said, "I know what you have and you're overplaying it...but you could still win because I might fold..."

As Negreanu thought he said again, "Overplay, overplay, overplay..."

Eventually Negreanu passed {J-?} {8-?} face up.

Last Woman Standing

Karen Longfellow is the last woman standing in Event 27. We haven't seen much action from her, but she did just take down a pot on the turn after the board read {10-Spades} {9-Clubs} {6-Clubs} {K-Hearts}. Longfellow fired a bet of 10,000 after four opponents checked to her. They all folded and she scooped the pot to put her right around 55,000 chips.

The Iceman At Work

The board read {9-Clubs} {8-Diamonds} {5-Hearts} {J-Spades} with Chris Bell to act first. He bet 6,000 with Roland De Wolfe next to act. De Wolfe raised to 27,600. Next in line was Jeff Lisandro. He too wanted to have a crack at things and fired a reraise in to 70,200 total. Bell folded first and then De Wolfe folded second. Lisandro now has 114,000 chips and pushing towards a second bracelet at this year's World Series.

Tam's Queens Are Good

On a flop of {A-Spades} {Q-Spades} {10-Hearts}, Kenny Tam fired a bet of 5,000 and Daniel Negreanu called. The turn brought the {4-Spades} and Tam checked. Negreanu fired 9,000 into the middle and Tam called. The river was the {6-Spades} and both players checked.

Negreanu mucked his hand after Tam showed {Q-Clubs} {Q-Hearts} {9-Clubs} {8-Spades} for a set of queens.

Ivey Back In Town

Phil Ivey has just jumped back into the PLO8 tournament on Daniel Negreanu's table. He only has about 30,000 left though but expect it to go in soon.

Racener Steals Solomon's Wisdom

On the turn of a {8-Spades} {5-Hearts} {J-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds} the chips all go in between John Racener and Michael Solomon. Racener shows {A-Spades} {K-Diamonds} {4-Clubs} {6-Clubs} for a straight and an A-4 low and Solomon can only show {7-?} {7-?} X X. The river is the {3-Hearts} and Racener scoops and eliminates Solomon.

New Chip Leader

Professional poker player and rapper, Brett Richey, has taken over the chip lead with a over 220,000 chips in his stack. Richey's rap group is called Dream/Clone and we'll let you be the judge on whether or not he's a better poker player or rapper.
