Doyle's Complaint

Doyle Brunson was placed at a table with his son, Todd Brunson, the other day in the $10,000 Limit Hold'em World Championship. Both Doyle and Todd are still in today's event and it could happen again today. Doyle talked to communications director Seth Palansky about the issue and in his opinion, doesn't think it will happen. Palansky said he'd talk about it with others and try and make some sort of ruling from it.

Brunson continued to talk about the topic with his table mates. He said that he would never blatantly soft play or anything, but it's just common nature that he wouldn't want to be sticking his son right in the middle of things if it happened to come up. The table seemed to agree with him.

We picked the action in this hand up on sixth street, with John Juanda leading out with a bet. Joe Tehan called, Tuan Le raised, Juanda reraised, Tehan called and Le called. On seventh street Tehan bet and both Le and Juanda called.

Tehan showed {A-Clubs} {7-Hearts} {3-Hearts} for a 7-5-3-2-A low, and split the pot with Le, who showed {Q-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds} {5-Clubs}, winning the high with trip queens. Juanda mucked.

After the hand, Le was up to 318,000, Tehan was on 137,000 and Juanda was left with 28,000.

Chambers Eliminated By The Godfather

Doyle Brunson had Tom Chambers all-in on fifth street. Chambers was able to pick up a low draw on sixth against Doyle's pair of tens. Chambers made his low on seventh, but Doyle was drawing to a better low. "Let's see if I can make a better one." he said.

Doyle then turned up a nice three that gave him a better low along with his pair of tens. Chambers was sent to the rail at the hands of the living legend, Doyle Brunson.
