B.B.B

Billy Baxter busted a little while before this unscheduled break and he fell to none other than JC Tran. Baxter had {A-?} {K-?} but he couldn't hit and Tran's {9-?} {9-?} held up.

Tran up to 170,000 now.

Three To Go

There are now 624 players remaining, the reason for the break was to count how many were left. We're going to restart with 4 minutes left of this level. $1,894 minimum will be soon greeting all who remain except three players...

Double Bubble

Petr Kadavy
Petr Kadavy
On the fourth hand of hand-for-hand, we saw two exits. The first was Jeff Greco who called a reraise all-in on a {7-?} {5-?} {4-?} board with {8-?} {8-?} against the big stack's {10-?} {4-?}. The latter hitting running {10-?}'s to house up.

On the other side of the room, there was a push for about 9,000 with {K-?} {K-?} by Petr Kadavy over the top of a 2,300 raise from Jonathan Aguiar holding {A-?} {9-?}. A call and a board of {A-?} {Q-?} {2-?} {4-?} X meant that we had a split bubble.

The two players split the 621st money prize of $1,894, meaning both get $947 - $53 less than they paid to enter the event.

"Don't bluff sir"

A short stacked player raised half his stack from UTG and JC Tran called from two seats along. Everyone else folded and when the flop was about to come down {2-Hearts} {4-Clubs} {J-Diamonds} Tran said to his opponent "Don't bluff sir".

UTG checked and Tran bet an amount to commit the player if he called. He folded though and Tran tabled {A-?} {A-?} with a big smile on his face.

A Change of Tack

The bubble bursting has certainly changed the pace of play. All-in showdowns are happening all over the room and the range players are willing to commit with has widened greatly. Ace-nine popped up twice that I could see and you wouldn't of seen a hand like that turned up thirty minutes ago.

Paul Illegally Parked

Paul Parker is one of the many players now busting out, he was all-in with {A-Spades} {Q-Spades} but in terrible shape against {Q-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs} and {A-Diamonds} {A-Hearts}. Unfortunately for him, the board could only provide him with a mere whiff of a flush draw coming {7-Spades} {J-Clubs} {4-Spades} {4-Clubs} {3-Hearts}
