Final Table Time

After four long, gruelling days, we've finally reached the final table of the largest non-Main Event field. The field is led by former bracelet winner Dan Heimiller.

First Hand

In the first hand, James Matz III raises preflop and Phong Hunyh makes the call from the blinds.

The flop is {9-Clubs} {A-Diamonds} {2-Hearts}, Hunyh checks and Matz takes it with a bet of 150,000.

Oakes Stung

A raise from Steve Sung to 150,000 is called by Jeff Oakes from the cut off.

The flop is {5-Hearts} {9-Diamonds} {K-Hearts}. Steve Sung bets 225,000 and Oakes makes a speedy call. The turn is the {2-Clubs} and Sung checks, Oakes now fires out 400,000.

Sung takes a couple of minutes and then check-raises to 1,750,000, covering Oakes. The latter folds and Sung is closing in on Heimiller's chip lead.

Fuhs-Balled! Danny Fuhs Eliminated In 9th Place ($114,168)

Danny Fuhs raised to 125,000 and Phong Huynh made the call.

The flop was {10-Spades} {A-Clubs} {J-Clubs} and Fuhs bet 180,000. Huynh made the call and the turn was the {2-Spades}. Fuhs bet 440,000 and Huynh set him all-in. Fuhs called quickly.

Huynh: {10-Clubs} {10-Diamonds}
Fuhs: {A-Diamonds} {J-Hearts}

The river was the {5-Diamonds} and Fuhs was knocked out in 9th place winning over 100 times his original buy-in for his efforts over the last few days.

One for Vilandos

Steve Sung limps for 50,000 and Pete Vilandos makes it 200,000 behind him. Everyone folds back to Sung, who makes the call after thinking for a minute.

The flop comes {J-Hearts} {K-Clubs} {4-Diamonds} and Sung checks and eventually calls a 2250,000 bet. The {8-Diamonds} is the turn and Sung checks a second time, this time Vilandos bets 375,000. Sung looks like he wants to call, but then rechecks his cards more openly than usual, the classic 'going to fold' move.

Sung folds and Vilandos takes the pot.

Sung Pushes Hunyh Out

Phong Hunyh raises to 130,000 from the cutoff, Steve Sung reraises to 405,000 from the small blind.

Hunyh makes a pretty speedy call and the flop comes {8-Clubs} {K-Clubs} {4-Spades}. Both players check and the turn is the {9-Spades}, Sung counts out and pushes forward a stack of green chips, 500,000 to be exact.

Hunyh sits fiddling with his chips, one hand over his mouth, staring intensely at the flop and then the bet. After a minute, he gives it up.
