We'll See Cuu Later I'm Sure

Cuu Hoang has just rocketed up to 200,000 after eliminating two players in two consecutive hands. Both were pre flop all-ins. Hoang had {A-Hearts} {Q-Hearts} versus {10-Diamonds} {10-Hearts} in the first hand and the board ran {A-?} {6-?} {9-?} {6-?} {9-?}. The second hand he had {K-?} {K-?} versus {8-?} {8-?} that held also to add more chips to his now massive stack.

Zach Still on the Attack

Chip leader
Chip leader
Just before dinner break Zach Melaney took another sizable pot off JC Tran. There was pre flop action and action on every street, until we were left with a {A-Spades} {7-Clubs} {2-Spades} {2-Diamonds} {6-Hearts} board. Melaney tabled {A-Clubs} {K-Spades} and Tran mucked. Melaney is the big chip leader now on 355,000, whereas Tran is back to 87,000.

Speaking to Tran during break, he insisted he’ll get all the chips back once they stop making hands against him.

Who's the Mon?

And just like that, John Monnette has tripled back up. He pushed all-in for 13,500 and Jamie Armstrong isolated by moving in for 135,000 behind. Then another player decided to take a gamble and called all-in also.

Monnette: {A-?} {A-?}
Armstrong: {A-Diamonds} {10-Hearts}
Third player: {6-Diamonds} {6-Spades}

The board came out {Q-Spades} {4-Spades} {5-Diamonds} {2-Spades} {10-Diamonds}. So Monnette tripled up in the main pot, while the so-called 'side' pot went to Armstrong, putting him up to 175,000.

McDown a Little

I approached the table when the flop was out {3-?} {6-?} {K-?}. Calen McNeil and another player got all the chips in the pot and McNeil thought he was good with aces, but his opponent had flopped two-pair with king-six. The hand held and McNeil is down to 75,000 now.
