No Final Table No. 3 for Alaei

Daniel Alaei has been eliminated over the course of two hands. Most of the damage was done when he got all in on a {J-Clubs} {9-Diamonds} {2-Spades} flop with {J-Spades} {9-Spades} versus an opponent with {K-Diamonds} {K-Hearts}. The turn was a safe {4-Hearts} but the river {K-Spades} changed all that.

He then moved the last of his stack in with {K-Diamonds} {7-Spades}, but was called by a dominating {K-Hearts} {9-Hearts} that held to bust him.

Ladies Fall

Early exit for Liebert
Early exit for Liebert
Two of the ladies in the tournament have been eliminated.

Both Kathy Liebert and Sabyl Cohen-Landrum have hit the rail.

More Eliminations

Amnon Filippi and Jonathan Little have both been eliminated, along with Kyle Bowker.

Bowker called a check-raise all in for his tournament life holding {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs} against an opponent's {8-Spades}{7-Diamonds} on a flop of {3-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{4-Hearts}.

The turn and river would blank out with the {Q-Diamonds} and {A-Spades} falling to see Bowker take the long walk home.

Sebok Sent Packing

With the board reading {4-Spades}{8-Spades}{6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}, Joe Sebok check-raised all in for his tournament life holding {6-Clubs}{7-Clubs}.

His opponent made the call holding {J-Spades}{10-Spades}, and when Sebok was unable to fill up on the river he was sent to the rail.

Great Scott

Andrew Scott has just fallen to Danny Wong. It all went in on a {2-Diamonds} {7-Hearts} {6-Clubs} flop with Scott holding {A-Diamonds} {7-Clubs} to Wong's drawing {4-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds}. The turn was a harmless {9-Hearts}, but the river {3-Spades} made the straight and Scott leaves us.

Another player not in his seat is Greg Mueller.

Demidov Doubles

Ivan not so terrible
Ivan not so terrible
Ivan Demidov is up to 23,000 after managing to double up with {7-Clubs} {4-Spades} against an opponent's {5-Clubs} {5-Spades}. Not sure of how the hand played out but we were left with a {K-Hearts} {7-Spades} {2-Hearts} {K-Diamonds} {9-Hearts} board.

Phillips Doubles

Double time for Dennis
Double time for Dennis
Dennis Phillips has found a nice double up to 14,000 when he check-raised all in against two players with the board reading {6-Spades}{5-Spades}{J-Clubs}{A-Clubs}.

Phil Hellmuth folded his club draw, and the aggressor on the turn made the call tabling {4-Spades}{3-Spades} to be drawing very live against Phillips' {A-Hearts}{8-Hearts}.

The river landed the {K-Clubs} and Phillips stayed alive.
