Ferguson Gets the Chop

Chris Ferguson, our multi-tabler of the day, raised out of the big blind and got two callers to see a {6-Hearts} {K-Diamonds} {3-Diamonds} flop. The small blind checked to him and he bet; the gent in mid position who'd called to see a flop folded, and the small blind called.

The small blind bet out on the {5-Spades} turn and Ferguson raised all in; a call later and they were on their backs.

Mr. Small Blind: {K-Clubs} {10-Spades} {5-Clubs} {J-Diamonds}
Ferguson: {6-Diamonds} {3-Spades} {4-Diamonds} {A-Diamonds}

River: {9-Hearts}

Choppity, chop.

He's still precarious on 3,000.

Burgoine Burgeoned, But Buckled

Matthew Burgoine is down to 7,000 after calling a bet on the {7-Spades} {K-Clubs} {Q-Diamonds} flop, checking behind on the {K-Hearts} turn and then calling another bet on the {2-Hearts} river. His opponent showed {A-Hearts} {J-Spades} {Q-Hearts} {Q-Clubs} for a full house, Burgoine mucked, and that was the end of it.

Go All In With Jesus

Chris Ferguson managed to get his last chips in on the turn of a {J-Hearts} {3-Diamonds} {10-Hearts} {7-Clubs} board -- but he and his opponent chopped it, and there's not much change to his 2,000 microstack.

Ferguson: {10-Diamonds} {2-Hearts} {5-Hearts} {K-Hearts}
Ms. Opponent: {K-Clubs} {K-Diamonds} {Q-Spades} {10-Clubs}

River: {A-Clubs}

Burgoine Stack Burgeoning

I arrived just at the end of the hand to see Matt Burgoine all in and called, and the whole board out.

Burgoine: {A-Hearts} {Q-Hearts} {8-Spades} {2-Spades}
Opponent: {A-Diamonds} {2-Diamonds} {K-Clubs} {3-Diamonds}

Board: {Q-Spades} {5-Diamonds} {3-Spades} {K-Diamonds} {7-Spades}

Burgoine took three quarters to put him up to 5,500.
