Pause in Play

The clock has been paused while the bracelet ceremony is conducted.

Now is a good time to grab a bite or for the players to run to the bathroom as it could be a long bubble ahead!

Kanter Trims Cantu's Chip Lead

Brandon Cantu opened to 4,600 and was re-potted by Aaron Kanter. Cantu made the call and when the flop of {3-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{4-Hearts} fell down, he also check-called Kanter's all in.

Cantu: {Q-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{9-Hearts}{8-Spades}
Kanter: {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}{K-Spades}{6-Spades}

The turn and river fell the {6-Clubs} and {J-Spades} to see Kanter double to 35,000 as Cantu slipped to 165,000 in chips.

Boeken Busts Opponent

One of PokerNews reporters ran over to see Noah Boeken dispatching of an opponent.

We caught Boeken's hand of {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{6-Hearts}, but were unable to see his opponent's hand when the board ran out {Q-Spades}{J-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{7-Spades}{2-Spades}.

As his opponent hit the rail, Boeken climbed to just over 100,000 in chips.

Play Slowing

Only three more eliminations are needed until we hit the money - and this is most likely the key factor in the slowness of play at the moment.

With players earning $2,953 for a min-cash, most are aiming a little higher.

Stay tuned for the (hopefully soon) bubble bust out!

Aljenabi Doubles

Matthew Wood pushed out 7,000 preflop before Ali Aljenabi re-potted all in for his tournament life. Wood called and the cards were tabled.

Wood: {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{2-Spades}{5-Hearts}
Aljenabi: {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{4-Spades}

The board ran out {9-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and Wood slipped to 29,000 as Aljenabi doubled through to 70,000 in chips.

Yancik First to Fall

Stewart Yancik opened to 6,000 from under the gun before Barry Craig raised to 21,000. Yancik made the call to see the flop of {5-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{7-Spades}.

Yancik checked and Craig bet enough to put Yancik all in. Yancik made the call for his tournament life.

Yancik: {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{8-Spades}{2-Clubs}
Craig: {A-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}

The turn and river fell the {9-Clubs} and {4-Diamonds} to see Yancik exit in 72nd place as Craig climbs to 85,000 in chips.

Thunder'D By Le Roux

Now safe in the money, Norma Red Thunder pushed all in over a raise from Frederic Le Roux. Le Roux made the call and the cards were tabled.

Thunder: {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades}{3-Spades}{6-Diamonds}
Le Roux: {A-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{2-Hearts}

The board ran out {3-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{8-Clubs} and Le Roux made the best low and also the nut-flush for the high to send Thunder to the rail. Le Roux climbs to 40,000 in chips.
