Interesting Structure

This tournament brings an interesting structure to it with players have a triple chance.

Each player has a starting stack of 1,500 along with two red non-tournament value chips.

If they lose their stack at anytime, they can use their red chip to get a fresh 1,500 starting bank from the dealer.

Players can also choose to double add on straight away and take the 4,500 from the get-go.

Liebert Doubles

On one of the first hands for the tournament Kathy Liebert found a double while enjoying a massage.

With all the money going in on the {8-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{9-Spades} flop, it was Liebert's {A-Spades}{2-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} against an opponent's {A-Hearts}{3-Spades}{4-Spades}{7-Hearts}.

The turn and river fell the {5-Clubs} and {10-Hearts} to see Liebert scoop the pot and double to over 3,000 as her opponent was left crippled.

Late Arrivals

Multi-bracelet winner, and Omaha Hi/Lo specialist Thang Luu has just taken his seat, while Nenad Medic has just strolled into the room.

Clonie Gowen has also taken her seat in the Blue Section as TJ Cloutier aimlessly walks around the room.

Danzer Makes Early Exit

Early exit for Danzer
Early exit for Danzer
A player in seat eight raised to 175 from early position. Mike Sexton made the call, as well as George Danzer from the button.

Danzer fired 375 into the {K-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{5-Clubs} flop once it was checked it him by both players. The original raiser then check-raised to 1,375 as Sexton passed.

"I promised my girl I wouldn't be gambling today" says Danzer, as he cracks a smile and puts the rest of his chips into the pot. His opponent made the call and the cards were tabled.

Danzer: {A-Hearts} {7-Hearts} {2-Hearts} {4-Diamonds}
Opponent: {A-Diamonds} {2-Diamonds} {K-Diamonds} {K-Spades}

The turn and river fell the {Q-Clubs} and {K-Clubs} and Danzer was unable to improve, and was forced to exit to the rail and face his girl!
