Sebok Hanging In

Joe Sebok
Joe Sebok
Joe Sebok raised from the hijack seat, and Paul Testud called from the small blind. The flop came {10-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}. Testud checked, Sebok bet, and Testud called. The turn was the {4-Hearts}. Testud again checked, Sebok bet, and with a grimace Testud folded.

Sebok is at about 3,000 at the moment. William Toh, sitting across the table, looks to have the chip lead there right now with around 7,500.

We're Back

Cards are back in the air. Looks like several of the tables ended up topping out at nine-handed, as we didn't reach the 640-player mark. It should be a while until we see any winners emerge.

Early Leaders

Maria Ho

Through two levels of play, it looks like Stephen Giufre, Jerome Zerbib, Andrew Lulek, Robert Suer, James Gallman, Thomas Fragoso, and Eric Crain each have chip leads at their respective tables.

Maria Ho has the chip lead at her table as well with about 13,000.

Toto Takes One

Toto Leonidas raised from under the gun, David Pham three-bet from middle position, Eric Crain called the three bets from the cutoff, and both the big blind and Leonidas called as well.

The flop came {7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{3-Spades}. The table checked around to Crain who bet, and all called. The turn was the {Q-Diamonds}. This time it checked to Leonidas who bet, Pham folded, then Crain raised. The BB folded, and Leonidas called.

The river was the {3-Clubs}, and both checked. Leonidas showed {A-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for sixes, and Crain {5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}. Crain slips back a bit, and it appears now that Leonidas and Tom Schneider are battling for the chip lead on that table.

Terrence Chan Chips Up

Terrence Chan
Terrence Chan
Rachel Saturn raised from middle position, Terrence Chan reraised from the cutoff, Danny Qutami called from the small blind, and Saturn called as well.

The flop came {J-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{5-Spades}. Qutami checked, Chan bet, Saturn called, Qutami reraised, Chan called, and Saturn folded. The turn was the {3-Spades}. Qutami bet, Chan raised, Qutami reraised with the last of his chips, and Chan called.

Qutami showed A-Q and Chan {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}. The river was the {4-Clubs}, and Qutami is out. Chan has about 6,000, a little below average with six players left on his table.

Over/Under on First Winner?

With 15 minutes left in Level 3, we are starting to see more eliminations, with a small number of tables having worked their way down to five- and six-handed by now.

Most tables still have eight or nine players sitting around them, though. There will be a one-hour dinner break at the conclusion of Level 4. A winner by dinner?
