Williams Goes Clubbin'

David Williams
David Williams
David Williams raised from middle position, a player three-bet behind him, then Rep Porter made it four bets from the cutoff. Both Williams and the third player called.

The flop came {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}. It checked to Porter who bet, and only Williams called. The turn brought the {9-Clubs}. Williams checked, Porter bet, Williams check-raised, Porter three-bet, Williams four-bet, and Porter called.

The river was the {8-Diamonds}, and this time Porter just called Williams' bet. Williams showed {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for the club flush, and Porter mucked.

Williams is up to 14,000, giving him a nice-sized lead currently at his eight-handed table. Porter tumbles to 2,600.

The Grinder Grounded

Michael Mizrachi
Michael Mizrachi
Michael "the Grinder" Mizrachi was just eliminated. After losing most of his stack in a hand versus James Meehan, the Grinder lost the rest after being forced to commit his last chips with {10-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} against Dylan Linde's {A-Spades}{10-Clubs}. The board came {Q-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{Q-Spades}, and Mizrachi is out.

Eight remain at that table, where Linde is also now short with 1,800 and Meehan has 7,500.

Suer Up, Sorel Down

Another player was just eliminated over at Robert Suer's table, where he continues to maintain a chip advantage with six players left. Jean-Robert Bellande is there as well, and isn't too far behind Suer. Sorel Mizzi, meanwhile, is nursing the short stack.
