Johnson Takes a Tiny One

After Mark Salinaro called his 150,000 raise preflop from the big blind, Travis Johnson bet another 310,000 on a flop of {10-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{K-Clubs}, which was enough to push Salinaro out of the pot.

Salinaro Loses More Chips

In a battle of the blinds in an unraised pot, Walter Wright called Mark Salinaro's 80,000 bet on a flop of {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}. Wright called another 165,000 when the {4-Spades} hit the turn, and 255,000 more when the {3-Clubs} landed on the river.

Salinaro mucked immediately after the river call, and Wright showed {J-Spades}{10-Clubs} for second pair.

Johnson Gets One Back

Just prior to the break, Travis Johnson raised to 150,000 from the small blind and Craig McConville made the cal in the big blind.

They took a flop of {7-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{Q-Spades} where a 215,000-chip bet from Johnson was enough to take it down.

Wrong Bet, Wright Result

Walter Wright
Walter Wright seemed to forget what level we were up to as he tossed out 85,000 from under the gun. He was ruled as making a minimum-raise to 100,000 and picked up four callers.

The flop came down {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} and play checked around to Craig McConville who threw 200,000 into the middle. The table folded with the exception of Wright who made the call.

The turn was the {2-Hearts} and both checked before the {Q-Diamonds} landed on the river. Both players checked once more, happy to keep the pot small, as Wright tabled {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs} for the best hand.

The Aggression Continues

Walter Wright raised it up to 170,000 before Mike Ciotola continued the trend of this final table, and put in the 3-bet, making it an additional 300,000 to go. The table folded around and Ciotola collected a nice pot without contest.

Chip Leader Flexes Muscle

Mark Salinaro opened the action with a raise to 155,000 before Walter Wright popped it up an additional 300,000 to go. Play folded around to chip leader Craig McConville in the small blind who flexed his muscles with a hefty bet of 1.1 million. Both players tossed their cards and fled the big confrontation with the chip leader as McConville increases his stack.

Johnson Wins Blind Battle

Play folded around to Travis Johnson in the small blind who raised it up an additional 105,000. Always happy to play in position, Craig McConville made the call in the big blind and the two took a flop of {10-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{8-Spades}.

Johnson checked to McConville who fired 135,000. Johnson made the call. The {K-Clubs} on the turn was checked by both players, as was the {9-Spades} on the river. Johnson tabled the best hand with his {A-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} to take it down.
