We're On The Move

The players will now be taking a short break as they relocate to the ESPN Feature table which was recently vacated thanks to the bracelet-winning efforts of Phil Ivey. Perhaps we'll be crowning a new Phil Ivey later this evening?

Mark Salinaro Doubles Up

Walter Wright raised to 160,000 from under the gun and action folded to Mark Salinaro who shoved all in from the big blind. Wright called and showed {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts} while Salinaro showed {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}.

The flop of {Q-Clubs}{6-Spades}{J-Hearts} gave Wright a gut-shot draw, which didn't come and Salinaro won the pot with the {6-Hearts}{4-Hearts} on the turn and river.

Salinaro Represents a Monster - And Wins

Craig McConville

Mark Salinaro raised to 155,000 from middle position and action folded to Craig McConville who reraised to 455,000 from the big blind.

Salinaro then reraised all in for a total of 1,345,000 forcing McConville into the tank. After thinking and counting down his stack, McConville finally released the hand, giving the pot to Salinaro.

Ciotola Turns Bluff into Value Bet

Mike Ciotola
Mike Ciotola
Mark Salinaro opened another pot with a raise to 155,000 from under the gun. Mike Ciotola made the call in late position and the two saw a flop of {4-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}.

Both players checked and the {8-Diamonds} fell on the turn, putting a potential flush out there. Salinaro led out with a bet of 225,000 and Ciotola was quick to make the call.

The {K-Clubs} completed the river and Salinaro deliberated before checking to Ciotola who fired out a healthy bet of 500,000. Salinaro again went into the tank again and eventually found a call.

Ciotola sheepishly revealed {3-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}, assuming he was beat, but a murmur trickled around the crowd as Salinaro couldn't better an underpair as he tossed his cards into the muck.

Steve Karp Takes a Pot

Steve Karp
Steve Karp
Action folded to Craig McConville in middle position who continued his aggressive play, raising to 160,000.

Steve Karp, who has barely played a hand on this final table, was next to act and reraised to 450,000. Action folded back to McConville who again went into the tank before finally releasing his hand.

Brian McInnis Doubles Up

Brian McInnis
Brian McInnis
Michael Ciotola made it 230,000 to go from middle position and got reraised all in an additional 230,000 by Brian McInnis. Ciotola made the call and the hands were turned up.

Ciotola - {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}
McInnis - {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}

A flop of {k-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} gave McInnis a huge lead, and he turned the full house with the {K-Diamonds}. The {A-Hearts} on the river changed nothing, and McInnis increased his chip stack to just over 1 million.

Walter Wright Eliminated in 7th Place ($97,985)

Walter Wright - 7th Place

Mike Ciotola opened the action with a raise to 230,000 from under the gun. Travis Johnson was next to speak and he slid out 700,000 into the middle to announce a raise.

The table folded around to Walter Wright in the small blind who moved all in over the top! Ciotola quickly stepped aside as Johnson asked for a count. It was an additional 985,000 to him to make the call. Johnson deliberated for several minutes, often standing from his chair and running his hands through his hair as Wright remained motionless and emotionless.

Johnson finally found a call and the cards were tabled:

Johnson: {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}
Wright: {a-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}

The board was spread {10-Spades}{9-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} and Johnson's pair holds up to eliminate Wright in 7th place for a collect of $97,985.

After making a standard raise from the cutoff, Brian McInnis called an all-in reraise from Mike Ciotola in the big blind.

Ciotola had McInnis covered and the hands were shown.

Ciotola - {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}
McInnis - {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}

Ciotola took the lead on a flop of {Q-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}. The {9-Hearts} on the turn didn't change anything and {Q-Spades} on the river gave Ciotola two pair and the hand.

McInnis left in 6th place with a payday worth $116,234 while Ciotola now sits on 2.75 million in chips.
