Steve Zolotow: (X)(X) / - fold
Jennifer Harman: (X)(X) / / (X)
Marco Johnson: (X)(X) / / (X)
Zolotow brought in, Harman completed and then Johnson raised. Zolotow got out of the way and Harman called, leaving the action heads-up. On fourth, Johnson check-called a bet before leading on fifth. Harman called and then she check-called sixth after picking up a pair of sevens. On seventh street, Harman fired and Johnson called.
"Three sevens," said Harman jokingly as she rolled over the for a low. Johnson breathed a sigh of relief when he saw her hand and tabled the -X from the hole for a pair of aces for the high.
Johnson didn't mind that she joked with him as he said, "The happiness I get when I find out she's kidding makes it fine. I'm happier with her joking than actually showing me three sevens."
"I only joke with a few people," responded Harman.
Leonidas was all in on sixth street before the last card was dealt face down to each player. First, Leonidas peeled back his card slowly and revealed the to give him aces and sevens. Altbregin then peeled back the and wound up making a heart flush out of his hand. Leonidas was eliminated and the first player to hit the rail, earning just over $28,000 for his finish.
Alessio Isaia (X)(X) /
Steve Zolotow (X)(X) / / (X)
Christopher George (X)(X) / / (X)
We picked up the action on fourth street with George leading out. Isaia folded and Zolotow called. George led again on fifth and got a call, then check-called Zolotow's bet on sixth street. George checked dark on the river, then called one more bet.
George showed for aces up, but Zolotow tabled for a six-high straight and scooped the pot. He's up to 465,000 while George is on fumes with only 15,000.
Allen Kessler brought in with the and then Gary Benson completed with the . Blair Rodman called with the up and then Kirill Rabtsov called with the up. Kessler also called.
On fourth street, the dealer dealt Rabtsov the , Kessler the , Benson the and then Rodman the in that order. Benson started by checking and then Rodman followed suit. Rabtsov fired a bet with the only decent looking board out of the four and everyone folded.
"That's the first time he's dealt out so many bricks," commented Frank Kassela.
Both George Lind and Christopher George are the two players on death watch as we move into a higher level. George has about 30,000 chips and Lind has just 60,000. At any moment now one of these two could be sent home.
Christopher George (X)(X) / [Qs / (X)
Steve Zolotow (X)(X) / / (X)
John Juanda (X)(X) / / (X)
Zolotow had the bring-in, George completed, Juanda called and Zolotow called. On fourth street the action was checked to Zolotow, who bet. George raised all-in for 33,000 and both Juanda and Zolotow called. Juanda check-called Zolotow's fifth street bet and both players checked on sixth. Zolotow check-called one more bet on the river.
Juanda turned over two fives for trips and won the high half of the side pot while Zolotow showed a 7-6 low for the low half of the side. George took the high side of the main pot, showedin for a flush and Zolotow collected the low half of the main.
George is still fighting away with a bit over 50,000 in chips.
