Good Fold, One Round Penalty

Felipe Ramos raised to 400 from under the gun. The player to his left re-raised to 1,475 and the player to his left 4-bet to 3,075.

Action was folded back around to Ramos who looked conflicted. After looking at his cards a couple of more times he said, "if I get this wrong don't tell anyone!" And he open folded{q-Hearts}{q-Spades}.

"I think I'll go with you," said the second raiser and folded {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}. The third raiser showed {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} and took the pot.

Not content with Ramos' fold while there was still action, the third raiser called the floor. Ramos was given a one round penalty for exposing his hand, but he left happy knowing he made the right call.

Back From The Game

With England and the United States tying, Matt Affleck can now focus on poker.

Affleck raises to 525 from under the gun and gets two callers. The flop comes {2-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and it's checked down. The turn is a {5-Hearts} and Affleck fires out 700. One caller re-raises to 1,650 and the other folds. Affleck calls and the river gets dealt, it's a {j-Spades}. Affleck checks and his opponent moves all in for 3,275.

Affleck calls showing {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for a pair of tens, and his opponent flips over {2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} for a set of 2's and the winning hand. "That's alright, you're still my hero," a player at Affleck's table said to him after the hand.

Affleck is now left with 500 chips and one admirer.

Nguyen Loses

Men "The Master" Nguyen, was just eliminated.

Nguyen got it all in preflop with {a-Spades}{3-Spades} and his opponent showed {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}. The flop came {k-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{k-Spades}, a brutal board for Nguyen. Only running aces could save Nguyen, but the turn and river brought running 9's instead.

The full house was enough to leave Nguyen's seat empty.

Aces vs Kings

David Singer was under the gun and raised to 500. Seat 7 then rereaised to 1,500. When action folded back around to Singer, he moved all in. Seat 7 called for his remaining 6,900 and the two flipped over their cards:

Singer: {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}
Seat 7: {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}

Singer was in trouble and needed help. The flop came {10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}, which didn't change a thing. The turn was the {5-Diamonds} and Singer was down to two outs. The {A-Clubs} on the river ensured Seat 7's double up and left Singer with around 1,850.

Positively Fifth Street

Jim McManus was left with only 750 after he ran into his opponent's {A-Clubs}{A-Spades} on a {5-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{K-Hearts} board.

The very next hand a player in Seat 6 raised to 475 and McManus went all in for his 750. Seat 1 then went all in for 775 and Seat 6 made the call.

McManus: {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}
Seat 1: {J-Diamonds}{Q-}
Seat 6: {K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}

The board ran out {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{A-Hearts} and McManus tripled to 2,550.
