Tom Dwan was down to just 300 when he was dealt an face-up, but with so much preflop action before him, he decided there we enough value to make the call.
Tom Dwan: /
Dale Phillips: {X}/
Paul Sherr: /
James Richburg: {folded sixth}/
On third street, preflop raiser Phillips continued his aggressive nature, leading out for a single bet. Both players called. He then bet all three subsequent streets, which again were called, Sherr finding himself all in on sixth.
In the end, Phillips took the high (I missed one card, but I sense he either had a house or flush), whilst Dwan snuck in for the low with A-2-5-6-7.
Flying Dutchmen and Team PokerStars Pro Marcel Luske isn't flying at the moment, but he's still in, currently on a stack of 18,000. He just chopped one up with Mark Janeczek, Luske taking the high with two pairs eights and tens, Janeczek the low with A-2-4-7-8. Janeczek is also on 18,000.
Christopher Neiligan: /
Ziya Rahim: {mucked sixth}
Jerri Thomas: {mucked}/
On seventh street, Neiligan bet, Thomas raised, Nelligan reraised and Thomas called before being shown aces full. As a result, Thomas slips to 3,500, whilst Neeligan is up to 30,000. Rahim is on 11,000.
We caught up with the action on sixth street, the pot sizable. Jan Sjavik bet and Paul Sokoloff thought about it for a long time. Eventually he laid it down, leaving himself on just 4,000. Sjavik meanwhile increased to 26,000.
Kevin MacPhee: /
Anton Brenner: (mucked) /
Marcandrea Trevisanato: (mucked) /
Anton Brenner was all in on third street, but betting continued between Marcandrea Trevisanato and Kevin MacPhee - MacPhee bet every street and Trevisanato check-called him all the way.
Come showdown MacPhee tabled his wheel, and both his opponents mucked.
MacPhee, who by the by is among the speediest stackers we have seen in this or any event, was at roughly 40,000 after that.
We arrived at Michael Mizrachi's table and found him all on fifth street against Joseph Santagata. In no particular order, Mizrachi's cards were . Mizrachi made an 8-7-6-5-A low and a ten-high straight.
Santagata began the hand with rolled up kings and his board read /. He sweated the last card, turning over the for quads, chopping the pot with Mizrachi.
I didn't catch all the cards, but Jim Collopy was all in on an early street, but ultimately taken out by high-low specialist Scott Clements. Clements now has just over 35,000.
