Preflop action built a pot of about 140,000 between Joerg Engels and Dilyan Kovachev. The flop came and Engels bet 95,000. Kovachev wanted to reraised all in but because of the size of the pot he wasn't able to; however, he did raise the pot, leaving himself 40,000 behind.
Engels rereaised enough to put Kovachev all in and of course he called.

Kovachev was in the lead, but Engels had an open-ended straight draw. The hit on the turn and changed nothing.
When the came on the river it gave Engels a set and the best hand. Kovachev was eliminated from the tournament in 10th place for which he will take home $19,588.
The final nine are back in their seats and the player introductions have been delivered. The first hand of Event No. 28's final table is now being dealt.

Trevor Pope of Florida has a couple of cashes at the World Series of Poker already this summer, his best finish thus far coming in Event No. 8, a $1,000 no-limit hold'em event in which he finished 89th for $4,866. Pope also one other PLO final table to his credit as well, having finished fifth in a PLO event at the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure earlier this year.
Stephane Tayar is from Canada though currently lives in Paris, France. He's enjoyed numerous cashes over the last half-dozen years in France, with his biggest score being a runner-up finish in a no-limit hold'em event at Paris' famed Aviation Club, enabling him to turn a €1,000 buy-in into €25,770. Today marks Tayar's fourth WSOP cash and second final table. He finished ninth in the 2008 $2,000 no-limit hold's event.
Prior to today's final table, Karl Gal of Germany only had a few small cashes in events in Austria, the largest being a €1,275 cash in a PLO event just a couple of weeks ago. Guaranteed at least $25,044 for making today's final table, Gal's career earnings total is about to jump considerably today.
Tommy Le of California is better known by some as the younger brother of top poker player Nam Le, although Tommy has himself compiled an own impressive resume of poker successes. Primarily an online player, "Tommy Legend" has nevertheless earned numerous live scores as well, including eight WSOP cashes prior to this event, plus a WPT Championship final table in 2008 where he finished fifth, earning $395,725.
Michael Greco of England is an actor and poker player who has appeared on several poker shows as well as recorded numerous tourney cashes. He's made a couple of WSOP final tables before, with his best ever finish being a third place in a $1,500 no-limit hold's event in 2009, earning $248,555 for doing so. His total tourney winnings exceed $650,000.
