Welcome Back to Day 2
Day 2 of the Seniors No-Limit Hold'em Championship is about to get underway. Yesterday, 3,142 players filled the Pavilion for a huge Day 1 start. Only 428 players managed to survive and will be returning to play in the Amazon Room.
Among those to survie are the Day 1 chip leader, Tom Schneider (91,000); 1986 Main Event Champion, Berry Johnston (57,000); ESPN commentator, Lon McEachern (13,000); Thor Hansen (19,000); old school player, TJ Cloutier (8,500); and Simpsons co-creator, Sam Simon (20,000).
With so many players returning, it is unlikely that we will make the final table today; however, play will continue for ten levels and it is almost a certainty that the money bubble will burst in the process. PokerNews will bring you updates throughout Day 2 of the Seniors Championship!
