Argentinian Veronica Dabul isn't far behind. Also looking for deep runs today are Hungarian pro Richard Toth, Team SportsStars member Fatima de Melo, and Frenchman Arnaud Mattern.

Maven Can't Make KQ Work

On a board reading {q-Hearts}{5-Spades}{2-Clubs}, a player in early position bet 1,050. David "the Maven" Chicotsky called, and Robert Ryman moved in for 4,900 more. The original bettor folded, and the Maven called with {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}. Unfortunately for him, Ryman had him out-kicked with {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}. The {7-Spades} turn and {2-Hearts} river were no help, and the Maven doubled Ryman, falling to 12,900.

Chen Steals One

Andrew Chen fired a bet at an {a-Spades}{6-Clubs}{4-Spades} flop, and his opponent raised him to 1,400. Chen moved all in for twice the pot, and after a second, the other player folded. "Crappy kicker," he said. Chen showed him {5-Hearts}{4-Clubs}. Oops. Andrew's up to 8,500.
