Kassela Doubles Back Through Thuritz

Frank Kassela raised from the button to 12,000 and Mikael Thuritz called from small blind and Phil Ivey tossed in the call from the big blind.

The flop came down {8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and Thuritz fired 17,000. Ivey folded and Kassela raised to 55,000. After a brief moment, Thuritz reraised to put Kassela all in. Kassela called.

Kassela had an overpair with the {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades} and was up against the {10-Spades}{8-Spades} of Thuritz.

The turn was the {2-Spades} and the river the {K-Diamonds} completing the double up for Kassela. He was all in on the flop for 144,500 and is now back over 300,000 in chips.
