Open... Fold!

Takashi Ogura opened the pot in early position with a 43,000-chip raise and the action folded to the big blind. In the big blind, Sean Prendiville moved all in for an additional 291,000 chips.

Ogura tanked, and eventually folded. Prendiville is now up to 390,000 chips. Ogura slipped to 350,000 chips.

Takashi Ogura Eliminated in 18th Place ($21,553)

Takashi Ogura - 18th place

Takashi Ogura opened with a raise to 42,000 from middle position, and it folded around to Paul Kerr on the button. Kerr sat with his chin in his hand, and looked over at Ogura from under the brim of his black baseball cap.

"How much?" asked Kerr, pointing at Ogura's stack. He counted and responded "260" -- there was a little more than 260,000 chips, actually, sitting in front of him.

Kerr then tossed out some green and yellow chips, a raise to 129,000. It folded back to Ogura who quickly said he was all in, and Kerr just as quickly called.

Ogura {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}
Kerr {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}

Tough spot for Ogura. He was already standing when the flop came {3-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}. The turn was the {8-Diamonds} and the river the {A-Spades}, and Ogura is out. Kerr moves up over 1 million.

Jesse Doubles Through Lordge

In middle position, Nathan Jesse opened the pot with a 47,000-chip raise. The action folded to Jeremy Lordge in the big blind, and popped to 122,000. Jesse called.

The flop was {9-Clubs}{4-Spades}{10-Hearts} and Lordge check-called a 135,000-chip bet from Jesse. The turn card was a {3-Clubs} and Lordge moved all in. Jesse insta-called.

Showdown
Jesse: {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
Lordge: {j-Spades}{8-Clubs}

The river brought a {5-Diamonds} to the table and Jesse doubled up, is now up to 870,000 chips. Lordge slipped to 250,000 chips.

Matthew Schulte Eliminated in 16th Place ($21,553)

Matthew Schulte - 16th place
Matthew Schulte - 16th place

Marcel Vonk opened with a raise to 50,000 from the hijack seat, and Yu Shen called from the button.

Matthew Schulte then reraised all in over the top for the rest of his stack from the small blind. The big blind got out, and Vonk paused just a beat before saying he was reraising all in as well. Shen stood up, and with some reluctance said "I gotta fold this" as he pushed his cards away.

Schulte showed {K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}, while Vonk had {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}. The flop came {9-Clubs}{7-Spades}{8-Diamonds}. "I had your tens," said Shen, noting the gutshot draw Schulte had by indicating what he'd folded. The turn was the {Q-Clubs} and the river the {A-Hearts}, and Schulte is out.

That hand looks to have catapulted Vonk up over the 2 million mark, the first player to cross that milestone.
