Raymer Over 10k

Facing a raise to 525, Grey Raymer made the call from the big blind to see a {J-Spades}{J-Hearts}{3-Hearts} flop fall.

Raymer checked to his opponent who opted to fire out 600 only to have Raymer check-raise to 1,700. His opponent made the call before both players checked down the {8-Hearts} and {5-Diamonds} on the turn and river.

Raymer tabled his {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} to rake in the pot and move to over 10,000 as his opponent mucked his hand.

What Does Johnny Lodden Think?

Antonio Esfandiari is currently engaged in a game of "What Johnny Lodden Thinks" with his fellow tablemates. Matt Glantz, who is sitting at the table, is playing the role of Lodden. The last question we overheard was "How many toothbrushes has Glantz used during his whole life?"

Esfandiari was betting against another player at the table, who said 140. Esfandiari took the over and Glantz's response was 160. Esfandiari was right and pocketed $100.

Matt Glantz Chips Up, Eliminates Esfandiari

In a limped pot, three players saw a rainbow flop of {8-}{5-}{3-}. The player in the small blind bet 400, Matt Glantz called from the big blind, and Esfandiari raised to 1,900. The small blind folded and when action got back to Glantz, he reraised all in.

Esfandiari, who only had 2,000 left, made the call with {7-Spades}{9-Spades}. Glantz turned over {K-}{8-} and took down the pot when the turn and river blanked. Esfandiari was eliminated while Glantz increased his stack to 24,000.

Moorman Out

With five limpers ahead of him, Chris Moorman pushed from the small blind for his 4,300-chip stack.

After some deliberation, the big blind made the call tabling {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs} to be in a race against Moorman's {A-Hearts}{9-Hearts}.

The final board of {6-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{6-Spades} was spread to put Moorman on the rail.

Wong Doubles

On a board of {J-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{5-Clubs} Danny Wong had his opponent all in for a pot in excess of 8,000.

Wong: {J-Clubs}{3-Spades}
Opponent: {K-Spades}{J-Spades}

The turn and river landed the {7-Hearts} and {9-Hearts} to see Wong eliminate his opponent and climb to over 21,000 in chips.

Topakas Topples Over

Steve Topakas before elimination
Steve Topakas before elimination

Steve Topakas limped in only to have a button raise and a small blind shove follow me.

Topakas made the call for his last 3,300 and tournament life as the player on the button mucked.

Topakas: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades}
Opponent: {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}

Unfortunately for Topakas the flop fell down {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{3-Hearts} to virtually end his tournament, and following the {5-Clubs} and {7-Spades} on the turn and river, Topakas made his way to the rail.

Ramdin Chipping Up

With a raise to 500 ahead of him, Victor Ramdin bumped it to 1,550 from the button.

Making the call, Ramdin's opponent then fired out 2,100 on a {4-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop. Ramdin made the call and when the {K-Spades} landed on the turn and the action was checked to him, he instantly moved all in and forced a fold from his opponent.

"Living on the edge!" uttered an excited Ramdin as he climbed to 12,000 in chips.
