Seiver Suffers Sick Suckout

Level 4 : 75/150, 0 ante

We didn't get to the table until the board had been dealt out and the players were counting out the chips, but according to the players at the table, Scott Seiver and his opponent got in a raising war preflop that ended with his opponent five-bet shoving with {a-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and Seiver calling with {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}.

Seiver was in great shape to double up, but the board ran out {k-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{q-Spades}{4-Hearts}, giving his opponent a rivered wheel and sending Seiver to the rail.

Elezra Doubles with River Counterfeit

With the board reading {K-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{3-Spades}, Eli Elezra called a 400-chip bet from his opponent before the {Q-Diamonds} fell on the turn. The player checked to Elezra and he moved all in. His opponent called with the {K-Hearts}{3-Hearts} for two pair. Elezra held the {K-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} for top pair and needed help.

The river card was the help Elezra needed with the {Q-Spades} falling and counterfeiting Elezra's opponent.

Ho Gets Lucky to Double Up

Level 4 : 75/150, 0 ante

It looks like Mario Ho didn't use up all of her luck with her deep run in the 5k no-limit yesterday. She has just doubled up after getting her stack in preflop in the small blind with {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}. She was behind big time against her opponent in the big blind with {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}, but the board ran out {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}, giving her a flopped set and a double up to 4,125.

Showing Cards

On the flop of {K-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}, the small blind checked, Eli Elezra checked and then Greg Meuller checked. The turn was the {K-Diamonds} and there was no more checking going on. The small blind bet 750, Elezra min-raised to 1,500 and then Mueller moved in for 4,450. The small blind folded and then Elezra folded, showing he {6-Diamonds}. "I was bluffing," he said. Mueller showed the {9-Hearts}.

Who Doesn't Have the Flush?

Level 4 : 75/150, 0 ante

We just caught a pretty crazy hand over at Greg Raymer's table. Raymer was in the big blind against opponents in the small blind and on the button. The flop came out {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{4-Hearts}, and it was checked to the button, who bet 450. The small blind called, then Raymer check raised to 1,425. Both players called, and the turn brought the {a-Diamonds}. It seemed like an action card, but all three players checked and saw the {8-Hearts} hit the river. The small blind bet out 2,500, and both Raymer and the button called fairly quickly. When the cards were turned up, everyone was surprised to see what they had.

Small Blind: {q-Hearts}{2-Hearts}
Button: {k-Hearts}{3-Hearts}
Raymer: Mucked but said he had 10-high flush

All three players rivered a flush, but the button's was best. Raymer lost the hand, but is still very healthy at around 12,000.

Elezra Folds Trips to Black

Level 4 : 75/150, 0 ante

On the flop of {Q-Spades}{10-Hearts}{3-Hearts}, Eli Elezra bet 1,500 and Andy Black called. The turn was the {A-Hearts} and both players checked before the {A-Spades} paired the board on the river. Elezra fired 1,700 and Black raised to 4,700. Elezra thought it was best to lay down his {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} and mucked his hand saying, "All right, buddy. Enjoy." Black didn't show and won the pot.

Garrett Goes Out on a Limb

Level 4 : 75/150, 0 ante
Brad Garrett
Brad Garrett

Everybody Loves Raymond star Brad Garrett is down to 9,300 in chips, but that unmistakable voice is still ringing out as bright as ever as he continues his quest for his first WSOP gold bracelet.

The action folded to Mitch Branch who raised to 425 from the button before the flop; Garrett called and then both players checked the flop of {A-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and the turn of the {10-Clubs}, before Garrett led out for 500 on the river of the {A-Clubs}. Mitch, who was only playing about 1,500 behind, reluctantly called and turned up {j-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for two pair. Garrett mucked.

"Good call! I just wanted to see where you were at," Garrett bellowed. "What were you afraid of?"

"Going broke," Branch replied meekly.

On the last break, our very own Kristy Arnett called the clock on Garrett, which you can check out in the video below.

We can tell you that that there is one other player who has gone broke - Jason Mercier was one of the late entrants into today's event after busting in seventh place from the 2-7 Draw Lowball final table. According to our sources, it wasn't even five minutes before he walked back out the door.
