Mitchell Doubles Into Lead

With all the money going in preflop, it was Nicholas Mitchell's last 166,500 going in good holding {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades} to be up against Scott Baumstein's {K-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}.

The board was spread {2-Hearts}{2-Spades}{j-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{4-Clubs} to see Mitchell's eights hold as he doubles to 334,000 while also taking the lead in their heads-up duel.

The WSOP Poker Hall of Fame

Level 4 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

With Erik Seidel still battling it out three-handed for a place on yet another WSOP final table, it truly is justification for his recent acceptance in the WSOP Poker Hall of Fame.

Consequently, we thought we should look at some of the previous inductees since 1979.

Alan Goehring Eliminated in 19th Place ($13,368); Adam Junglen Advances!

On a board reading {6-Hearts}{8-Spades}{K-Spades}{10-Diamonds}, Alan Goehring checked-called a 21,000 bet from Adam Junglen on the button.

The {10-Spades} river completed the board and Goehring again checked, prompting an all-in bet from Junglen. Goehring called off his remaining stack.

Goehring: {10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}
Junglen: {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}

"Wow, there was no way for you to get away from that," Junglen said in surprise upon seeing the boat vs. boat cooler.

With that, Adam Junglen has advanced and will return to play at the final table tomorrow.

Terry Pushes Out Young

Level 4 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Jordan Young opened his button with an 8,000-chip min-raise only to have Todd Terry three-bet to 20,000. Young made the call, and when faced with a 22,000-chip bet on the {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} flop, he called that too.

With the dealer dropping the {8-Spades} on the river, Terry pushed for his last 107,000, and after a lengthy deliberation, Young folded.

Terry flashed his {10-Spades}{7-Clubs} for a semi-bluff as he raked in the pot to move to 192,000 in chips.

Waki Holds to Double

Level 4 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Mark Radoja opened the button to 8,000 only to have Yasuhiro Waki three-bet to 25,000 from the big blind. Radoja pushed a stack of 25,000-denomination chips into the pot and Waki called off his 119,000.

Radoja: {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs}
Waki: {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}

With Waki in dominating shape, the {7-Clubs}{9-Spades}{5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} board would ensure his double to 239,000 as Radoja slipped back to 361,000 in chips.

As Waki was pushed the pot, he went on a celebratory rant running round the room before the Tournament Director issued him his last warning on excessive celebration.

JP Kelly Eliminated in 18th Place ($13,368); Tom Marchese Advances!

Level 4 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
JP Kelly - 18th Place
JP Kelly - 18th Place

On a {7-Clubs}{8-Spades}{3-Spades} flop we found JP Kelly raising himself all in against Tom Marchese.

Kelly: {A-Spades}{2-Spades}
Marchese: {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}

With Kelly needing to spike a spade or running cards for a straight, the {5-Diamonds} on the turn would be one of his runner-runner outs.

Unfortunately for the former bracelet holder, the {J-Diamonds} on the river wouldn't be his ideal card as he was bundled out in 18th place as Tom Marchese advances through to the final table.
