Humberto Brenes and Blake Cahail capped the betting preflop and saw a flop. Cahail led out, got raised by Brenes and just called. The turn was the and Cahail check called Brenes’ bet. On the river, Cahail moved all in and was called by Brenes. Cahail showed for the nut low. Brenes held and his two pair was enough to chop the pot. Brenes had 62,000 after the hand while Cahail was at 18,000.
We don't know where Scott Clements was off to in such a hurry, but we saw him sprint out of the Amazon Room with his backpack, only to return about 5 minutes later in similar hasty fashion.
In his first hand back, he got involved with Troy Palmer who raised to 3,000 preflop from middle position. Clement called to see the flop of
On the flop, Palmer bet out 1500, Clements raised, and Palmer called.
The turn was the , Palmer checked, Clements bet 3,000 and Palmer called.
The river was the , Palmer bet 3,000 and Clements called.
Palmer turned over for top two pair and no low, but it was good enough to scoop the massive pot and put him up to 55,000. Clements on the other hand was knocked down to 56,000.

We didn't see much of the action, but Ted Lawson doubled when he showed a on a board of for a full house and the nut low.
His opponent, Robert Mougous, showed the which made him a flopped set of threes for a tough beat.
Lawson is up to 30,000
In a hand between "Hollywood" Dave Stann and Men Nguyen, the whole pot was being shipped to Dave when he stopped the dealer and called over the floor. Both players seemed to realize that it was a chopped pot and along with the floor people Dave chopped up the pot to give Men his half.
After the hand, Men did something along the lines of calling Dave a cheater for trying to take the whole pot although it seemed like it was Dave who was doing his best to make sure Men got his half.
In the next hand, after words were exchanged, Dave stared Men down for two or three minutes without budging or looking at his hand until the floor was called on him and they went off on each other. They were threatened with penalties if anymore words were exchanged and this seemed to quiet the two down.
This is what was said according to Lex Veldhuis' twitter page,
"Quote of the century by Men The Master: 'You're a cheater, trying to take my money.' He is causing a big scene being obnoxious as always."
Both are still in the tournament, so we will be sure to let you know if anything else develops between the two characters.
Ben Yu just had Michael Block all in preflop. Block held and had Yu Dominated against . The flop was a dramatic one as it gave Yu Broadway and Block the nut flush draw. However the and turn and river didn’t produce the heart that Block needed and he was eliminated. Yu was up to 57,000 after the hand.
Barry Greenstein has been crippled by Fabrizio Gonzalez. The board was reading and Gonzalez showed for the nut straight which Greenstein couldn't beat or even show a qualifying low.
"The Bear" is down to 4,000 while Gonzalez has 65,000 now.
We didn't see the action, but it looks as though Erick Lindgren has been knocked out just before the money.
Also gone is Mel Judah whose lost to Michael Simon's on a board with no low possible.
With 96 players left and 90 making the money, play has slowed down here in the $1500 Omaha Hi-Low Split 8 or Better. Ari Engel had a particularly short stack (about 20,000 starting the hand) and took advantage of every second he could get to try and prolong his tournament life (around 10 minutes for this one hand).
Preflop, Guillaume Rivet raised to 4,000 and Engel spent three minutes in the tank deciding on whether or not to call. A clock was called and one of the tournament supervisors made it clear to him that he wasn't going to get away with stalling every round of the hand. Ari then said half sarcastically half seriously, "I'm in a big hand for my tournament life, I need time to make a decision."
The flop came and Rivet bet. Engel, again, stalled for as long as he could and the clock was called again before Engel eventually called.
The turn was a and Rivet checked. But, you guessed it, Engel again stalled for as long as he could before the clock was called and he checked behind.
The river was a and Rivet checked again. Again, Engel stalled and the tournament supervisor almost immediately gave him the clock. Engel pleaded saying, "I'm down to my last 5,300, don't I get any courtesy time?" to which the tournament supervisor responded, "Maybe if the clock wasn't called on you every single move of this hand, but now, no."
Engel ended up betting on the river and was called by Rivet. The two ended up chopping the pot and soon after left for the dinner break.
During the ten minute hand, three players were eliminated and as it stands we are two away from the money.
