Richey's Sevens Are Good

Level 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

From under the gun, Corey Burbick raised to 3,600. Brett Richey called from the hijack seat and then Mike Wattel called out of the big blind to send three players to the flop.

The flop was {9-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and action checked to Richey. He bet 4,600 and only Wattel called to see the turn, which brought the {J-Hearts} to the party.

On the turn both players checked and the river completed the board with the {6-Hearts}. Both Wattel and Richey checked again.

Wattel announced ace high and then Richey turned over the {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts} for the winning hand. He improved to 78,000 while Wattel slipped back to 97,000.
