Riccobono Wins

After a series of hands where Al Riccobono's opponent ended up all in a few times, Riccobono finally put the final nail in his opponent's coffin.

Preflop the other player raised and Riccobono called. The flop came {10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and Riccobono check-called a bet from the other player. When the {10-Clubs} came on the turn Riccobono check-raised and the other player ended up all in.

Riccobono: {j-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}
Opponent: {7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}

The other player looked poised to double with his pair of sevens, but the river brought the {8-Spades} giving Riccobono a pair of eights and the win. Riccobono is our next player to move on to round two.

Jeffrey Siegal Wins Table

After a series of bets preflop Jeffrey Siegal had his short stacked opponent all in.

Siegal {A-}{3-}
Opponent: {10-}{3-}

Siegal had his opponent dominated as the dealer put five cards in the middle, and they came out {7-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{7-Spades}{j-Diamonds}. Siegal ended up with ace high, and that was enough to secure his place in the next round.

Fohrenbach Wins Table With Epic Comeback

At one point in his heads-up match Ricky Fohrenbach was down 4-1 to his opponent, but he wasn't phased and he came back to win the table.

On the last hand, the player on the button raised it up preflop, Fohrenbach re-raised, and his opponent re-raised again and was all in.

Fohrenbach showed {7-Hearts}{4-Spades} and his opponent had {q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}

The board ran out {6-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{k-Spades}{k-Diamonds} and Fohrenbach got the knockout and the table win.

At this point, besides a few stragglers, pretty much all tables are heads-up, so the winners will keep pouring in as we find them.

Ramdin Doubles

Victor Ramdin a once dominant force at his table is now short stacked and heads up against his opponent. On this particular hand we saw Ramdin get all in against his opponent on a {6-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} with {K-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for a flush draw. His opponent held {Q-}{2-}.

The turn brought the {Q-Diamonds} giving Randim the flush. He wasn't out of the woods yet, he still needed to avoid his opponent boating up. He was succesful as the river was a {K-}.
