This group seems more focused on the impending money bubble than most $10k fields. Plenty of short stacks are getting shorter and shorter and shorter, and other players, even those with sizable stacks, seem to taking an extra few seconds (or minutes) to make every decision. We've heard the clock called in a few spots and expect that some fed-up players will be using it more often. They're still 17 players out of the money.
Tony Cousineau isn't going to be able to blind away for that long, but he's looking for the right spot to risk his chips. Action folded to Vanessa Selbst in the small blind in one hand we just witnessed, and she raised to 12,000. Rather than let her steal his blind or ship, Cousineau called, leaving himself about 55,000 behind. The flop came , and Selbst bet. Cousineau folded, much to Selbst's disappointment. She showed for a flopped boat.
On the flop, Richard St. Peter checked and Felipe Ramos bet 18,500. St. Peter called to see the fall on the turn. St. Peter led for 71,000 and Ramos raised to put him all in. St. Peter called.
St. Peter held the for three queens with a king kicker. Ramos held for three queens with an ace kicker. The river completed the board with the and Ramos filled up to send St. Peter to the rail.
Sami Kelopuro just doubled through Vanessa Selbst. The money went in on the turn with the board reading . Selbst held the to Kelopuro's . Kelopuro had bet the turn for 30,500, Selbst raised to 132,000 and then Kelopuro reraised all in for 172,000. Selbst called.

Clemencon tabled the for the flush to win the pot. Mosseri mucked and dropped back to 280,000. Clemencon improved to 335,000.
A level ago, Will Failla said that he folded jacks when Roger Teska was all in against Tristan Clemencon, and Failla would have made quads. He wasn't going anywhere with his this time. He was heads up in position with an opponent who declined to be identified when we asked earlier in the day. Failla said the flop was with one spade, and his mystery opponent check-called a bet. The on the turn added the nut-flush draw to Failla's middle set, and his opponent again check-called. The river was the fourth jack, and Failla's adversary kindly bet into his quads. Failla raised and only had to say thank you when his opponent put him all in and was very unhappy to see that his flopped top set and rivered queens full was no good . The Thrill is up to 440,000, but no beef jerky for quad jacks today.
Failla's opponent was fairly short after that and busted to Ludovic Lacay a few hands later.
Action folded over to Ben Lamb and he raised to 10,000. Sami Kelopuro reraised to 25,000. Everyone folded back to Lamb and he made the call to take the flop out of position against Kelopuro. Lamb checked and Kelopuro bet 25,000. Lamb made the call.
The turn brought the to the party and Lamb checked again. Kelopuro stayed on the gas and fired 56,000. Lamb studied for a little bit and then made the call.
The river completed the board with the and Lamb checked. Kelopuro took a minute and then bet 143,000. Lamb tanked and tanked, but eventually gave it up and Kelopuro was pushed the big pot.
