We caught action between David Sands and an opponent with the board showing . His opponent made it 1,125 to go on the river from the small blind and Sands called from the button.
His opponent turned over to take down the pot. Sands now sits with a little under 3,000.
In the first hand, a player in the hi-jack opened for 200 and was called by the button. Lauren Kling squeezed to 700 from the small and the original raiser immediately went all-in for his last couple thousand. The button folded but Kling called.
Kling:
Opponent:
The board ran out .... giving Kling a straight on the river and sending her opponent to the rail.
On the very next hand. Kling opened to 250 from the button and both blinds called.
The flop came and the small donked for 275. The big folded but Kling decided to call.
Both players checked the and the river.
Kling's opponent tabled but Kling flipped over for a rivered pair of queens and scooped the pot.
Kling is up to 8,000.
A player in late position opened for 300, the player in the cutoff called and action was Faraz Jaka on the button. Jaka popped it to 1,400, the blinds folded and the original raiser folded. The cutoff player thought for a moment and tossed his cards away.
Jaka is hovering around 9,000.
