Good Start for Krause

Level 9 : 400/800, 0 ante

Eli Elezra and Igor Sharaskin both limped from middle position before Andreas Krause raised to 4,400. Juan Caridad called from the small blind and Elezra called all in for exactly 4,400. Sharaskin reraised the pot which forced Krause to put in his final couple thousand chips and Caridad to fold at which point the hands were turned face up.

Elezra: {a-Spades}{2-Clubs}{4-Spades}{6-Diamonds}
Sharaskin: {a-Clubs}{2-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{7-Spades}
Krause: {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}

The board ran out {4-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Spades}{7-Hearts} and all three players had the nut low. It was Krause, however, that had a straight to the six and was able to scoop the high and force the other two players to take just one-sixth of the pot each.
