Timoshenko made the call, but then mucked his cards when his opponent tabled for a rivered two pair. The pot was pushed the way of Timoshenko's opponent and left him shaking his head, down to about 86,000.
While on patrol in the Orange section we found Darryll Fish sliding out 3,600 on a flop of . The player on the button called and the turn came . Fish checked and the button bet 7,000.
Fish went deep into the tank -- at least a couple minutes. He apologized to the table and rechecked his cards with a loud snap. "All in," Fish said.
The button had a surprised look on his face and tossed his cards in the muck after a moment. Fish is around 45,000.
Just now, a gentleman approached table #351 with chips and card for seat 4. The only problem is that is where Christina Lindley is sitting. Half way through level six she moved from the Pavillion Room and joined the table with the likes of Jason Mercier, Mikail Tutchinskiy and Tom McCormick.
The player was given a new seat card by a tournament director and walked off in the opposite direction. However, the table continued to discuss what had happened and realized that when Lindley went to the bathroom, the dealer gave a seat card to a floor person that must have been hers.
"That's how tight you've played, they just give away your seat card. It's like your not even here," Mercier said with a smile. That gave the whole table a laugh, including Lindley, and play resumed.
With the board showing the , Annette Obrestad bet out 1,000 from the small blind only to have the player in the big blind raise to 2,000. Obrestad called and the river brought the . After Obrestad checked the other player tossed out a bet of 2,000 and Obrestad folded her hand.
On the next hand a player in early position raised to 1,200 and action folded to Obrestad on the button who re-raised to 4,200. Everyone including the original raiser folded and Obrestad won the pot.
Obrestad has been chipping up over the past couple of hours and had around 84,000 in her stack after those hands.
PokerStars Team Pro Juan Maceiras has been crippled. It looked as though he had made a huge bluff for 24,600 on the river of a board but had been called by his opponent's , the latter's hand good for the pot. The Spaniard has been left with roughly 5,000 or so.
Jason Mercier raised to 1,200 in the cutoff and Mikhail Tulchinskiy point-asked how much it was and then called from the big blind. Both players checked the flop and Tulchinskiy led for 1,200 on the turn. Mercier slowly put together and then tossed out a raise to 3,850 and Tulchinskiy insta-folded. Both players are around the original starting stack and well below average at this point.
Over on table 285, we picked up the action three-handed into a flop that read ; the player in the small blind checked to another in middle position who opened for 6,000 before Mark Zajdner called from the cutoff. The big blind folded, so it was heads-up to the turn of the , where the middle position player checked.
Zajdner threw out 10,000 and his opponent called, but then both players checked down the river before the middle position player showed for busted straight and flush draws. Zajdner tabled and took down the pot.
Having only started the day with 84,100, Zajdner has almost doubled his stack since play began - he's now close to 160,000 in chips!
With the flop reading , a player in early position checked and Eric Baldwin checked as well. Matt Livingston bet 2,825 and the early position player made the call. Baldwin raised to 10,700, only to have Livingston three-bet to 22,825. The early position player folded and Baldwin made the call.
The turn brought the and Baldwin moved all in. Livingston quickly called, tabling for the nut flush, which had Baldwin's drawing dead. The hit the river and Baldwin was sent packing.
The action folded to Russell Carson who raised to 1,600 in the small blind. Tommy Le defended his big, and the flop fell . Carson led for 2,300, and Le called.
The turn was the , and Carson led again - this time for 3,125. Le called, and the river was the . Both players checked.
Carson tabled for a flush, but Le opened up for a higher flush. Le won the pot, and is now above 50,000 chips.
