Ahmed: (x-x) / / (x)
Friedman: (x-x) / / (x)
Friedman called a bet on sixth as we walked up, then checked dark to seventh. Ahmed's last bet nearly put him all in, and Friedman quickly, but reluctantly, called.
Ahmed showed / , and his six clubs are plenty good enough to take the pot. Just like that, he's back up to about 24,000.

Jason Mercier has just been eliminated from this event, but that will give him plenty of time to take care of his new stack in Event #11 over in the Brasilia Room.
Bryn Kenney completed and was called by Marco Traniello, with the latter calling the former's bet on the turn. Fifth street saw Kenney check-call a bet before both players checked down sixth and seventh.

Kenney's two pair was good and he chipped up to 69k.
