After Jeff Lisandro completed, Todd Brunson called and proceeded to call bets on both the turn and fifth street. Both players then checked sixth, leading to a check by Lisandro on seventh. Brunson took the opportunity to fire out a bet, which proved enough to take down the pot as Lisandro simply mucked.

Tom Headed in the Right Direction

Philip Tom made the call after the player in Seat 8 completed, and then check-called a bet on the turn. Fifth street saw Tom pair up and he wasted little time in leading out, and this time it was Seat 8's turn to call. The same action occurred on sixth street before both players checked seventh.

A short-stacked Steve Landfish was all in after completing with the bring in, which was called Todd Barlow. Brandon Guss then raised on the side and Barlow called, action that would be repeated on the turn, fifth and sixth. Guss slowed down on seventh with a check, which led to him check-folding to Barlow's bet.

Violette Finishes Off Leah

Mike Leah completed and then called Cyndy Violette's two bet, which led to him calling bets on both the turn and fifth. The latter put him all in and the cards were turned up.

Billirakis Gets it In

When we walked up to the pot on sixth street, there was a big pile of chips in the middle of the felt, and there was heads-up action between Michael Sigel and Steve Billirakis.

Sigel bet sixth, and Billirakis got his last 4,800 into the pot right there. Both men would pull blanks on seventh street, and Billirakis had the winner. He tabled {7-Hearts} {5-Spades} {2-Spades} / {7-Diamonds} {3-Clubs} {2-Hearts} {A-Diamonds} , and his mighty sevens and deuces are going to keep him around. He's close to the average chip count once again as he sits with nearly 30,000 chips.

Barbero got out of the way and Kenney made the call before taking the lead on the turn. Despite that he checked and allowed Traniello to put out a bet. Kenney called but then check-folded on fifth.

We picked up the action on fourth street, heads-up between Victor Ramdin and Huckleberry Seed.

Ramdin bet his lead on fourth, then called a bet when Seed made an open pair on fifth. Sixth street went check-check, and Seed made a final bet on seventh. Ramdin couldn't call, but he was curious.

"Aces?" he asked.

Seed responded by flashing only the {A-Spades} as he pulled in the pot. The prettiest card in the deck.

He flashed two of his cards — the {3-Spades} and {7-Spades} , but a straight-flush draw doesn't beat two pair.
