Noori Knocks Some More Off of Queen

Michael Noori raised in middle position, and Alex Queen put in a third bet. Action folded back to Noori, and he made the call. The flop came down {a-Spades}{10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}, and Noori check called a bet from Queen. He checked again on the turn, the {j-Clubs}, and Queen fired again. This time, Noori raised, and Queen made the call. The river was the {3-Diamonds}, and Noori bet again. Queen called, then frustratingly mucked when Noori showed {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} for trip jacks.

Noori is now up to 74,000, while Queen has drops to 65,000.

Dickerson Cruising

A player in early position raised, and the cutoff made it three bets. It folded to Jed Dickerson in the big blind, and he put in a fourth bet. The first raiser folded, but the second one called. The flop came down {4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}, and Dickerson kept it going with another bet. He was called, and he bet again when the {3-Spades} hit the turn. This time his opponent folded, giving the pot to Dickerson, who is now up to 175,000.

Ospina Out, Haxton Hurting

Action started with Ian Johns in middle position, and he made it two bets. Haxton three bet in the cutoff, and it was on Daniel Ospina on the button. He went all in for 16,500, and after the blinds folded, Johns and Haxton made the call. The flop came down {6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}, and Johns check raised Haxton. Haxton called, but folded when the {10-Hearts} hit the turn and Johns bet again.

Johns: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Ospina:{9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}

Johns hit his gin card on the turn, filling up and leaving Ospina drawing dead. The meaningless river was the {2-Spades}, and Johns collected the pot, upping his stack to 225,000. Meanwhile, Haxton is down to just 57,000 after the hand.

Israel Retakes Chip Lead

Roland Israel raised in late position, and Jed Dickerson was the only caller in the small blind. Dickerson check called a bet after the flop, {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}{6-Hearts}, and the turn, {7-Hearts}. The {2-Clubs} hit the river, and both players checked. Israel showed {q-Clubs}{j-Spades} for second pair, and Dickerson mucked his hand. After that pot, Dickerson dropped to under 150,000, while Israel jumped to 265,000.
