Bowker & Eames Progress, Nine Tables Remain

Kyle Bowker took care of his table and John Eames just defeated Tony Cousineau to win his table.

Cousineau was short-stacked and called when Eames pushed from the button.

Cousineau; {a-Spades}{7-Diamonds}
Eames: {q-Clubs}{10-Spades}

The board ran {6-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} to make Eames a straight.

Consineau, ever the gentleman, said, "Nice catch" and shook his hand.

Just nine tables remain now.

Final Four Tables

Level 8 : 400/800, 100 ante

There are just four tables left to complete, spread across the entire 90-table strong Brasilia room. It feels like the Amazon room when the World Series of Poker Main Event is down to its final few tables.

All remaining matches are at the heads-up stage so we don't expect the matched to last too much longer.

And Then There Were Two

Matt Carci just won his match, after both players agreed to go all in blind. Before both players looked at their hole cards the dealer spread a {9-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} board. It was then that each player took turns flipping over one card. Carci first flipped the {q-Diamonds} while his opponent showed a {9-Hearts}. Carci held the lead with the his queens. Carci flipped over the {j-Clubs} for a straight and his opponent couldn't counter as he squeezed out a {10-Clubs}. Both players graciously wished each other good luck and parted ways.

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

The level will not go up again as the two remaining tables took their 90-minute dinner break earlier, and are therefore a level behind. We're still at 600/1,200 with a 200 running ante.
